I downloaded the ZIP, unpacked it, got a lot more in the folder than was in the tutorial, but I ended up clicking INSTALL_OR_UPDATE, that said it installed it

that is a common sign your device might not be compatible

make sure to check the section of the android guide that says what devices we know work and don't to see if yours is listed in the incompatible section

So I’m running the game through the launcher and I have version 6.6.2 but the game completely freezes. There have been times where it freezes going into a trainer battle, walking the city, and there was even a time when I was just standing in Viridian Forrest. Not sure why it’s happening or how to fix it. I’ve been wanting to play the game for some time now and I keep running into this problem. If I don’t save frequently I’ll never go anywhere in the game

Ok so i just saw that you are supposed to be able to change triple fusion sprites manually in Grahics-->Battlers-->special by renaming the battlers
But in my Folder there are no alternative sprites so my question can i download the alternate sprites for triple fusions somewhere so i can manually change them?

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hey @boreal vale! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 501 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-501). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

Hello lovely tech support people! Apologies if this has been asked before, but I've noticed something a bit strange when I look for my sprites. The fusion sprite is green to indicate that it's a custom, but the default is the autogen. I then have to go into the summary page to find my custom sprite.

Even stranger, it says the artist is "unknown" when I WAS credited on fusiondex and in the gallery. Stranger still, that sprite isn't an alt or anything else thatr could cause this. It happens with ALL of my sprites, but not sure if it also happens with others'.

Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

So on the client side, it’ll show the sprite download but not always the fresh credit sheet if you haven’t updated the game recently

I found a weird issue. I was trying to catch the Raikou–Suicune fusion and kept reloading a save. But , when I opened the battle after a few retries, the screen went black. When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

For that I am trying to catch each and every pokemon available. I've recently gotten back into playing this game after a couple years. I updated the game the right way but now whenever I open the game, it is in a state of constant flashing. The game goes from a black screen back to the game repeatedly over and over again, the flashing is very sever. Oh I surely do love when the enter key doesn't work when I'm trying to type verify my character's name after having lost all of my save data because my file was too damn old (Seriously, why it that a thing again?). Now not only do I have to start from scratch, which I respectfully abhor, but now I have to deal with my enter key not working specifically at the one time I'm trying to input my character's name.

I dunno what I did wrong to have that minor inconvenience, but I'm just gonna delete and reinstall the game and see if that works.

hi, i've tried evolving my DragoKazam (Dragonair/Kadabra into Dragonite/Alakazam) and it's crashed the game every time. No other pokemon/fusions have done this and the game works completely fine otherwise. I've even tried evolving him in different places in different battles to test it and it always crashes

no, i wasnt for a bit, i had a game that was stuck at 6.6.0 and refused to update, but i just redownloaded it and extracted the right file instead of an old one and it worked out fine.

I see 2 problems.

1. You didnt follow our guide exactly
2. It seems you are having trouble connecting to the repo. Can be a firewall issue.

Hopefully fixing issue 1 fixes issue 2

alright im giving up I'll wait till the next update and try again to play PIF... nothing works fresh install following the guide exactly and everything it works for 5 minutes and crashes. If I try starting it again it just closes before it even runs the starting "video" without any error or loading.

if you are getting no errors with the crashes, that means something on your end is the problem

but given a quick scroll up, you are getting errors I've never seen before

what OS are you running? and be specific. ex: Windows 10 Home

if you are on Pro or any of the other variations of Windows 10 [or 11 that isn't Home] that would explain your issue as the game will either work but be incredibly jank or outright not function in any capacity [other versions of windows can have the same problem as well]
