2. you got hit by the recent repo shenanigans where it actively decided to not only not let the game download sprites but also actively remove sprites from the game files and now you are playing catchup to reobtain sprites [i.e., you hit the download cap, you need to be patient; as long as you have download data turned On and are connected to the internet, your game will grab sprites as it is able]

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

So… I downloaded this recently for said steam deck… and I’ve been having sprite issues.

Sprites won’t show up till I’ve encountered them in battle, saved and quit… I tried to move sprites from the google doc into the “sprites to be imported” folder… but that only solved some of the issue. 1. cloud sync in any capacity is known to cause problems, and generally the downloads folder doesn't have that
2. the downloads folder usually has full permission access, so that way the game files can get what they need without running into a possible issue and then having no choice but to crash and send out an error that can't open something or use something it needs

there's no documentation I can find on a fix; my best guess is that since you entered dragon's den before fighting her that was the sequence break

so if you have an autosave from before you did that, you could make use of a backup

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hey there, found a fresh bug. I just got a shiny from Wondertrade, lucky me! Except it's not getting the shiny colors. I tried reversing the fusion and changing Oricorio form, and it still only shows the regular colors.

The shiny sparkle plays as normal when I send it out.

I cannot unfuse it yet as it's a traded mon and I only have one badge.

I'm really curious if it's Vaporeon or Oricorio that is shiny... hope it's the latter 🙏

This process is automated, see? That's what I mean by algorithm. The sprites are not all manually edited. If I fuse any other of my shinies, the palettes are swapped automatically. The wondertrade shiny should be shiny, but isn't. If I fused a shiny vaporeon and oricorio, the sprite would be shiny just fine.

The palettes the game uses for swapping colors are all in the game already. The community project is for fine-tuning them, not creating them.

I can't find the official instructions, but basically you drop the .png with the correct name (it will be like dex number of head, dex number of body. so a rattata head/mewtwo body sprite filename would be 19.150.png) into this folder and the next time the game runs it will be imported.

Hey @chrome cosmos! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Fixing Randomized Trainers Always Staying the Same Type

1. Must be on 6.4.6+ for this to work. If you aren't on 6.4.6+, update your game and reshuffle your settings. If you don't know how to reshuffle, type: ?tag reshuffle

2. You need to go to the Pokémon center, talk to help man and select fix game. Must be done AFTER updating on 6.4.6+

3. You need to enter any gym and exit. Weird I know, but the dev put in a fix for that bug at entrances to gyms.

at any rate, give it a full fresh install. meaning first delete what you have, then reinstall following #downloads

If you say you did a clean install - the files are fine.
things may have changed on your device, or a combination of factors.

try a restart of your device, using the actual restart option, not turning it off and on again.
try a new save, etc etc.

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

If you're not using the Launcher:

Use the Lightweight installer guide to install in a NEW folder ➡️ Click Here⬅️

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Yeah shouldn't be a Problem but U don't technically have to transfer the whole game over U can download the game on new PC and with the USB on Ur old PC download all your save files and replace the files on new one

6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata
