The sprites are being monitored by staff and still work properly.
read this whole message carefully to know what is applicable to your situation.

IF you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is fine and working properly.

----- the game can only download a limited number of sprites per time unit while playing, you simply hit the maximum for now.

IF you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is not fine nor working properly.

----- This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options.

step 1. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
step 2. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses > other > reset > reset sprite cache & reset alt selection
step 3. If that did not fix it: do a full reinstall.

If you for some reason still do not believe your game is working properly:

step 1. delete your whole install

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

If you want to revert your save to a backup, use ?tag backups for more info.

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.

Having issues with the game loading in general, the first animation is quick and fine but then it goes black for awhile, music keeps playing, then I get to the title screen and it keeps doing fusions but I can't get past it and it freezes on the fusions together and white for a long time too. My computer is fairly updated and I can run most games in ultra with high frames :/ so idk what's going on. Its also in the download folder

So this is a weird problem. I open the launcher press play and all it does is open a tab that's all black then that tab closes right after, on its own. so it isn't starting the game or anything. I've tried fully deleting and redownloading the game and nothing changed.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

Sorry, I didn't know where else to ask this- I played Infinite Fusion in 2023 & really loved it! I even found a random shiny before the second gym?! But sadly life stuff kept making me busy so I couldn't keep playing as often as I wanted. Now I really wanted to get back & play it again so I installed the latest version & everything seemed to work fine, but it just said "new game"... fearing for my save file & that shiny Fletchling's safety, I tried to find my original save file from that 2023 Infinite Fusion 5.1 download... I can't find it. I don't know why/how (To be fair, searching through my download folder is hell becuase it displays differently than my other folders for who knows why & only sorts by recent downloads, so even if I search it by name, it just might not show up even if it is there???)
I DID find the zip file that would've been the origin point of that extracted folder, but I have no idea if that'll help in any way.... I'm sorry, I don't know if or what could be done about this, but if there is any way to recover that save file with my shiny, please let me know! I don't know what would've happened to it, I'd never delete it so I have no idea what could've happened. I dont know what was the state of the art in 2023, but your saved data of the game currently is not in the same place as the game, its in your %appdata% folder, meaning if you changed pc's and just swaped the game folder you lost your shiny fletchling

I also dont know how compatible are saves of old versions

This actually reminds me of something I never thought of but should've been obvious to me- (very sorry I hadn't thought of it somehow, I feel a bit dumb now-) I MIGHT have actually had that version on another PC??? I had to use a laptop a few years ago intead of my PC (both were fine, it was just to save on electricity bills) & though I didn't think I downloaded many games on it due to it not being really built for that- The more I think about it, the more I think it might just be there...

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

Hey @granite basin! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder

3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

A trainer I had grinded so much that their mon was level 100 (the Crowrath outside Fuscia) has reset to level 60 and is no longer increasing.
I've tried a few other trainers and none of them seem to be increasing level on rematch either, even trainers near the beginning with like level 14 pokemon.

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

• After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
• After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
• After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.
• After 29 rematches and gaining 6 or more badges, it will evolve again if not maxed already.

Below are the best trainers to rebattle for exp on their respective modes
Classic (Left)

• Cool Trainer Sofia outside of the League has a lvl 42 Chansey.

Remix (Right)

• Route 32 Fisherman Justin has a lvl 63 Blissey fusion and a lvl 5 Magikarp.

Yes I'm aware lol but this triple fusion is only level 55 rn and 9k exp per level. This level 60 crowrath is only giving ~2k exp per fight now vs about 5k before when it was level 100
So it's just like 2-3x more fights if I can't fight something above level 60 or so. I'll probably just not level this new mon lol

Apparently I am missing some of my randomized sprites that I caught. I tried reshuffling but I guess that did only wild mons. What do I do about the ones I have already caught?

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

If you want to revert your save to a backup, use ?tag backups for more info.

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

If you're not using the Launcher:

Use the Lightweight installer guide to install in a NEW folder ➡️ Click Here⬅️

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way.

Same issue. My sprites on base Pokemon are just question marks. Mobile version. I think toogz is using pc version. You don't have to worry about windows admin stuff on a phone. And btw, I don't want to have to redownload literally every time I have a problem. I'd like to know what caused this so I can avoid it in the future.

Hmm that's strange i haven't had an issue with mediafire and i doubt there is a different download avenue that is endorsed officially so i know they discourage trying to download it elsewhere
