After updating the game my party icons for fused pokemon are no longer the two pokemon fusion ones, they are just the icon of the head. I've tried switching it to the dna icons and back again, but it still will only show the icon of the head.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

But the game doesn't use them

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads

i did all that but the last bullet for the first time i opened it. once i opened the game i clicked new game and it asked the question where install. i didnt read so i clicked other not thinking on it. it force closed the game. im thinking what the hell? i try open game again and it dont want to so i extract files from game.exe. the bar wasnt moving after a couple minutes so i closed the extract thing. then it sent me to a new folder with game.exe and it looked different actually hade the emblem. from there i run game.exe and it works

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

As I was trying to re-download the game (Following the provided instructions from #downloads since it says re-downloading is better than actually updating) things were working until I reached step 5. When the command prompt opened, rather than appearing the way the instructions said it should, it says "The system cannot find the path specified." and says it's reverting to the previous version. EDIT: Now as I'm trying to open the game, the window will open for a second before closing again.

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

• After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
• After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
• After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.
• After 29 rematches and gaining 6 or more badges, it will evolve again if not maxed already.

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

apologies if i seem a bit dumb while asking this, but i'm having trouble installing the new update, the announcement told me to open my game folder and double click install or update, but 1: there are two things related to p.i.f on my homescreen atm, the first folder redirects me to my notes app, and the second one is the game itself, 2: i'm not sure how to access p.i.f files on my computer, my previous attempts were through the registry editor, but i'm sure that was not the proper app to use, and using the files app brought me to the same thing the apps on my homepage were doing, 3: i would rather not delete and reinstall the game due to it taking me alot of trouble and technical errors when first downloading it just trying to get it to work in the first place, any help would be greatly appreciated! but i've never heard of anyone else having the issue you are explaining in your first post where it redirects you to something else

the process is simple, so it may be better to start from scratch

delete the infinitefusion folder and zip file you still have it [and empty your recycle bin] then restart your pc and get a fresh download of the lightweight installer files

extract to InfiniteFusion [this option should be available if you are using winrar]
then open the extracted folder and double click the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE batch file [this will likely be the first instance of Windows complaining, look for an option that says More Info and then Run Anyway]

For missing sprites on the 6.6 update, talk to the help man in any Pokémon center and navigate to Advanced Options -> Other -> Reset -> Clear Sprite Cache. Video

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

If you're not using the Launcher:

Use the Lightweight installer guide to install in a NEW folder ➡️ Click Here⬅️

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way.
