Yes my main issue is that when I have WiFi this isn’t an issue my friend who has a steam deck is able to fuse Pokemon and not crash at all meanwhile I do and I just deleted the files and extracted it again so all my files should be working fine I deleted the download settings etc

Did you perhaps enable level cap in the option menu?
That prevents your pokemons from levelling beyond the highest level pokemon of the next gym leader

The links to the guides send you to hackmd.io, which is a website like google documents where the guides are hosted (if you go to the site itself without anything after "io", you will see that it has nothing to do with the game and anyone can make a page there).
The "there is no website" is because some websites that you can find through googling the game's name claim to be official and trick people into downloading something that is sometimes hiding some nasty stuff along with the game.

One thing to consider about the level cap is that it prevents a few pokemons from over-levelling and trivialising everything, to keep some challenge to the playthrough.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Hey, I was just seeking some advice on where to find all the files related to the game. My friend told me to get it off a website that he used, which I did, and then saw the in-game warning.
I have deleted the App Date Roaming File, as well as the original Zip and the extracted files.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

I found my own solution. I just made a folder called "test" and put everything it there manually. Then it worked.

And when I changed the file name later, it's location on the launcher updated with it

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions 6.4.2 and below.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Open the settings tab
2. Click "Reset Config"
3. Re-update
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher1.1.1/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

If you're not using the Launcher:

Use the Lightweight installer guide to install in a NEW folder ➡️ Click Here⬅️

My motherboard had a recent bios update pushed out.

If you are running a newer gen cpu and having crashing issues or wild script errors.

"infinite fusion" is not the same as "InfiniteFusion".
The reason the zip is named "InfiniteFusion.zip" is so that just doing "extract all" creates a folder with the correct name and you wouldn't need to be changing anything.

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

You would have to either A, go to the first calc site, sort by Dex, and put in Baton Pass for the move, then check one by one of the given options which can learn it by tm specifically.
Another option would probably be to ask chatgpt which mons can learn it by tm with gen7 learnsets, and then again go through the calc site checking for the available options.

Hey @mystic rivet! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

If you're encountering invisible sprites

**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

Attempting to view sprites that have not been downloaded through this feature yet will show them as invisible.
The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as invisible.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

I have the following problem:
Pokémon don't get any more XP than lvl 38 and ~10%XP while level cap is on. However, level cap should only keep pokemon from going higher in level than the next gym leader.
The next gym leader Sabrina (Saffron city) has a Pokémon as high as lvl 45. Is this level cap simply bugged or am I messing up?

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

Attempting to view sprites that have not been downloaded through this feature yet will show them as invisible.
The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as invisible.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

The game now comes with all sprites up to the update's date, so only missing sprite packs from February onward, and those are downloaded (a bit slowly) as you play.
If you want to play offline with all of the sprites, you would need to be downloading and installing february and march from #announcements and april from #spritepack-releases.
How to "install" them is all written on the messages about said packs too.
You might want to disable data download from the options if you take that route.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

Ok I finally got fusions installed now how dose one go about adding in spirits that I have seen people make such as the hallow knight ones or other sprites ?

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.

ive updated the game but even though when i look the sprite up it shows the picture on the right i still only have the one on the left (i have checked the alternate sprites in game)

Is there a way around this other than a different save file? Mine was set to 2v2 from what i remember. I never fully load into the fight, it starts the fight then error before I can get the menu up.

updating the game doesn't affect what sprites you get, it actually resets what you have

you likely hit the download limit of sprites which is why you aren't getting it if you have download data turned on
