Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

Hey @icy plinth! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon. If you have more options, reshuffle each.

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

this game was made using pokemon essentials. however, leftover assets and gameplay features that went unused were left in the files from that skeleton structure

you will find overworld sprites for pokemon that are not in the game in the files

so just because somethng exists in the files, does not mean it should or will appear in the game

The saves are in a different folder that has nothing to do with the install (launcher or not doesn't matter either for this).

2. download data also has a cap that only the Dev knowns of not only how often it can grab sprites but how many it can grab; once that cap is hit, you won't be able to get more until it resets

under normal circumstances, onedrive is a good thing

since it is a cloud backup service, if you are working on something and boop, power goes out, if the file was in a place that onedrive was active it would have that file, maybe with a few minutes of stuff missing instead of the entire thing

the downside of this with InfiniteFusion is that, unfortunately, we have seen it completely wipe saves that have had in upwards of 60+ hours on it

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Sweet. So to update on steam deck, you’ll want to reinstall fresh from #downloads unfortunately, that version cannot update as normal.

Best thing to do is:

1. redownload from the steam deck guide
2. Extract it
3. Wherever your current game folder is, delete it.
4. Move the new files from step 2 in the same location as where your old folder was. Just make sure it is the same name as what your old was.

Basically just swapping it out and you are good.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

Hey @quiet trout! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Hi guys, on the site infinite dex I Saw a cool sprite of a fusion so I wanted try it but when I fuse them the sprite other than the original all appear non existent, to add some context I download the game 2 days ago and it's written NEW below the sprite on the site, the issue come from my file (update needed) or the sprite is still not available ?

Many of the newer sprites have not been added yet for example (we get them once a month as a pack rather than one at a time whenever they are aproved).

Just did a full reinstall of the game and I'm still not auto downloading all the sprites listed in the fusiondex. I have also tried the solution of turning the option off and on again. How to fix?

The only reason it would take 6 hours is your internet speed or your region. You can try a VPN but no guarantees.

As for why we used Mega, people kept reporting the Mediafire page for the Android links and I do not have the time (or energy) to reupload the links every 12-24 hours because they kept going down.

I do not have the answer (I don't have debug unlocked yet), I was just telling you that you wouldn't get an answer without the role.
Sorry if I made it sound like I had your answer.
All I can say is that your pokemon apparently changed the exp group it uses (which determines how much exp is required to level up), something I didn't even know was possible in the first place.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

2. Double click SaveFile

4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

Hey @peak hound! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Ok, so I WAS able to bring a back up save file into the game. When I loaded in to where I was LAST night. It still turns my red into black stars.

Im having a friend, who hasn't played today, log in and check his one shiny he caught. To see if it made his a black star as well.

Yeah that's exactly it. Black means it's different from the "base rates". Since the base rate is different today, the game considers them to be black star shinies. They should go back to normal after the event

hi, this is probably an odd question, (hopefully it's in the right section?) I remembered this game from youtube and found it to redownload on the inifinitefusions.net page. But when the game asked me where I downloaded it from it said there is no official page and that it was probably a fake? Is this outdated or have I downloaded a potentially risky version?

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

Just to check a less obvious thing, are you using a specific save slot that is not A?
I don't know why, but I go this happening to me when my active save was on slot C.
I know it makes no sense, but maybe try to save on a different slot, restart the game and see if there is a difference.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

Reset the config in the launcher and see if that helps.

Then it is either a faulty install, or a permissions problem.

(We recommend the game stay installed in the downloads folder, and not moved for the latter reason)

So i'd say try a full reinstall, and then first running it from the downloads folder. If that works, you can try moving it. If it doesnt work afterwards it was a permissions issue. if it keeps working it was a faulty install.
