PIF doesn't really use your GPU that much

it is more CPU and Ram reliant

if you've done every step in performance, turned off download data, and yeeted your wifi and the game is still loading slowly, it is 100% your device

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

If you still have the new zip, you should be able to just extract to a new folder and be good to go

The old preloaded folders can’t be updated via the .bat file, you need to reinstall

But you can still download the new version of the launcher and install the new files that way

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Apparently he downloaded and installed the newest version of the game, in the "Downloads" folder and made sure it was saved in the "Roaming" folder (not in Onedrive)

but if the main game files are touched by onedrive they can bork out the saves

but if your friend has any save data from that old download, they need to delete it

So for some reason sometimes none of the trash cans in Surge's gym have buttons. Anyone know why? Also, sometimes the trash can that does have a button is surrounded by trash cans I've already checked.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, double click the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
   Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead. So you can rename to File B.rxdata for example in step 5.

To clean out your computer:

To clean out your computer:

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF
