6.4 has internet checks for some reason. So with you using VPN, that is probably the issue. If you turn off Download Data from in game settings and additional trying to turn off wifi on your device, it has helped people with this issue

there is only 1 version of the game

and all the sprites come with the game. So if for whatever reason something happens, turn off Download data from in game setting and should still work. This game can be played with no internet so not much of a concern

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your Downloads folder
2. Delete the .git folder in your game folder. Onedrive will lock this folder and prevent you from updating. If you don't see a .git folder, use the screenshot below to see it.
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

if you download PIFLauncher1.1.0 and open it from there you are good.

The step to uninstall is just to remove the old version. It doesn't conflict with the new version. You just need to stop opening it with the old one.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

yeah their files are used to retrieve data on your computer and they insert their own data into the game to make it look good until later in the game where your save gets corrupted. Security wise, they change their files often with new scams so depends what version of malicious files they have now.

I would trust your anti virus, but some ppl have had to factory reset their pc, steam decks, androids, etc. But I would rely on what your anti virus says and how your computer behaves after

Yeah, it is five steps. Basically deleting your app files folder in the launcher folder and replacing it with the updated version

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.
