Use Game-performance.exe to randomize your game. Your computer is struggling to randomize the game because you did custom sprites only so it is downloading almost 200k files and trying to sort them all and overloading your pc

Sprite packs are not needed. When you install the game, it comes with the sprites. When new ones come out, the game automatically downloads them as you play.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
   Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.

I've tried automatically downloading data and manually importing the new spritepack, but both methods don't seem to be working. I've reinstalled the game and got it through the pif launcher, its vers. 6.4.7 and I am not seeing any of the new sprites. Is there something I'm missing? Im using fomantis/pawniard as my reference. Like. We are in Saffron and when she unfuses a Pokemon she liked to use both the material jumped up like 10 Levels.

So, my friend is trying to install the launcher for the first time, and upon clicking the CreateLauncherShortcut.bat, all it does is briefly open the Command Prompt window and immediately closes, with no PIF Launcher shortcut being created. How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
   Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.

generally: do not touch the game at all while it is loading. not with your mouse, no key, anything.

Game-performance is meant to take a long time to open the game because it is caching resources, but make IN GAME speed faster. Did you try playing the game after it loaded after or just focusing on opening the game?

yea im in a new game right now on performance mode, when i get stuck in grass or a trainer yells at me, it actually takes around a minute to go into the fight, and with trainers (this has only happened once as im at the beginning of the game) it took a min to get into the fight, then it took another min to let me start doing stuff in the fight

Yo Tysm Megaman, I didn't even have to turn my internet off, Turning Download Data off fixed literally everygthing. I loaded in to the main game (not the performance mode) in less than 30 seconds (instead of 10 mins) and poke battles take just a few seconds to load instead of a few mins

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

For some reason I can't edit the controls and use my pro controller how i want to. If I press for example A when wanting to change the key inputs nothing happens. It worked some time ago but not now. So my controller has binds that I don't like

Be aware, controllers will be auto mapped to buttons depending on which controller you plug in. If you want to remap buttons, it requires a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller.

The game by default only works with certain Xbox controllers. You’re honestly lucky the switch controller was working prior

I don't know if I'm missing something puzzle wise or something like that but these planks in Celadon Sewers are shifted to the right a tile and I can't get past it at all

What does this error mean? It happened after I imported some custom sprites. My first game file opened fine (I was using it to check if the sprites loaded properly, they did), but I opened my latest Random game and I got this popup.

Correct, the game can’t handle controller remapping for most controllers unless you use Steam
