it's only needed if it's a sprite that's being submitted to the game

As long as they're not sharing the edited sprite, then its fine. No one else will see, no one else will know.
It's only if you plan to share/distribute it that it becomes a problem with permission (and giving appropriate credit).

I just got a new system and wanted to see if there was a way to move the save over to it. I attempted moving it with a hard driver and it did not take any saves with it. I checked on the old system and all the saves are still there. Are the saves system based or is there a way to get my save on the new system?

well your issue is the updating your old files. We mention in #downloads that you need to reinstall the game if you on an old version cause it results in the issues you are explaining. Redownload the game first and try that. I dont think you need to update your OS

I suppose that might well do it but both the "Oh s***, Oh s***,I didn't mean to do that" keybind and the "Start/Menu/Select" keybind still seem to be bound to Esc/Num0/X/Joystick0 by default in the ROM with no way to differentiate between them

no, game-performance runs slower on steam deck for some reason. Only thing I can suggest for steam deck is also make sure you restart it (make sure it is the restart option) and unsure you have the latest version of Proton GE.

I'm actually having the same issue with the RGSS script. I am not touching anything upon opening game. I get a black screen after initial opening plays, and then the black screen with music happens. If I leave it or press the exit button I get the RGSS script error.

Hey, I don't know if this got mentioned before - I'm playing on randomised mode and since the 6.4.6 and still on the 6.4.7 version every trainer has the same second typing. Before it was the fighting type and after resetting the trainer team randomizer it was fine until I entered a new area and now everyone has ghost as their second typing. Already reshuffled 3x and fix game option with the man in the PokeCenter doesn't help...

Fixing Randomized Trainers Always Staying the Same Type

1. Must be on 6.4.6 for this to work. If you aren't on 6.4.6, update your game and reshuffle your settings. If you don't know how to reshuffle, type: ?tag reshuffle

2. You need to go to the Pokémon center, talk to help man and select fix game. Must be done AFTER updating on 6.4.6

3. You need to enter any gym and exit. Weird I know, but the dev put in a fix for that bug at entrances to gyms.

I've ran into a problem while dex hunting. I'm currenlty in brine road while doing the latias/latios quest, but every time I run into an encounter with them, the game freezes and then crashes if i wait long enough. I tried (almost) everything, updated my game so i'm now on 6.4.7 (downloaded from here obv), i restarted my pc, i run game performance and the regular game, tried going to a different region, normal encounters work fine, go back to the latios/latias fusion, game crashes again. How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
