I used to sort the sprites by "removing" unwanted ones (which was mostly either very bad taste ones, the 5 dupes identical with barely a differences or references ones that just looks awful to me) to cut down on the quantity of overall sprites. Yes I did that on an ungodly amount of sprites since that mean looking at each and every single one of them.

Hi, I'm very new here and I've tried downloading through the lightweight PIF instructions and the discord download instructions. However, it keeps giving me the unexpected disconnect every time I download it. So, I moved to the app launcher and when I tried to download from there it said the mediafire link was private and I would have to make an account. I then tried the backup download, which google drive says that it does not exist. I really want to play the game, and would be thankful for any support to help me be able to play.

Hey @spare granite! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

To fix any Mobile Issue or Crash, make sure when you open the game you are on v6.4.4 or higher. If not, redownload.
If your Joiplay version is not 1.20.410 and RPG Maker is not 1.20.53, you didn't do step 1 of installing on Android. This is why it is crashing so much.

To fix other issues for Mobile:

1. Open your game.
2. Open the menu and go to options (don't do this from the main menu. You need to be inside the game)
3. Change Device to Mobile (If it was Mobile already, change it to PC, close the menu. Save. Then reopen and Select Mobile)
4. Change Text Entry to Cursor.
5. Then Save the Game
6. Restart your game and try again.

This will fix all Android issues. If you still experiencing issues, let us know which phone you have because it is not compatible.

just plop it onto a usb drive, do what you need to do to your old rig, get the new one set up, download the game, make a "blank" save [pretty much just do the intro, and as soon as you are able, save the game so it can create the savefile folder where it needs to] then move the old save into where it belongs (you may need to make sure it has the right file name)

If your Joiplay version is not 1.20.410 and RPG Maker is not 1.20.53, you didn't do step 1 of installing on Android. This is why it is crashing so much.

Make sure when you open the game you are on v6.4.4 or higher. If not, redownload.

To fix other issues for Mobile:

1. Open your game.
2. Open the menu and go to options (don't do this from the main menu. You need to be inside the game)
3. Change Device to Mobile (If it was Mobile already, change it to PC, close the menu. Save. Then reopen and Select Mobile)
4. Change Text Entry to Cursor.
5. Then Save the Game
6. Restart your game and try again.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

so i click the update button, command prompt opens and the game shuts down to do the uninstall/reinstall, and i get hit with this message in the command prompt. do i have to manually uninstall and use links from this discord to reinstall?

1. Download the InfiniteFusion.zip attached to #downloads message
2. Right click it -> Extract All -> Click Ok
3. This will create a folder named InfiniteFusion. Double click it to open.
4. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat.
5. Open Game.exe

2. Did you update to 6.4 from old files or install in a new folder?
3. What version are you on? (Open the game, title screen says)
4. What device are you playing on? Windows, Android, Mac, etc.
5. Send a screenshot if you can't accurately describe your issue. Often times, it is hard to describe your issue. Send a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing. Especially if you are getting an error.

Versions: Confirmed correct Joiplay and RpgMaker plug-in (1.20.410-patreon, 1.20.53-patreon) from Android guide today (6.4.4).
Device: Anbernic RG405M

I guessing it's because this is not a supported device.

In Joiplay. I open the game, the Joiplay loading logo pops up, and then the error.

this means you did not remove the game from joiplay and it is referencing the one you put in the trash

overwriting an old install currently wont work properly.

also. as a side note, it was still running/updating while you opened the game...

go to the pokedex (you can press right here and should take you there I believe), and go to the sprite tab, share a screenshot

Missing sprite means there is no custom for it anymore (was deleted)

so you have to select an auto gen to replace it

The game isn't automatically changing it to an auto gen atm so missing sprite now means no custom sprite for it exists anymore

Does anyone know how I can get Joiplay to stop checking for updates?
It didn't do this until I opened the app for the first time in months. Was the patreon apk updated, or something?
It drains processing power while checking.

4. Delete the corrupted one
