On PC, reinstalling the game from scratch won't delete your savefiles. I just did it myself. However you might run into slight issues if changes were made. For exemple last time I played, there was nothing like costumes and such so my characters was mildly buggy but hardly gamebreaking.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

I tried to uninstall the game awhile back to do a clean install. But when I booted the game it still had a save file? Is there a list somewhere of file names this could be ubder so I can clear for a full uninstall/ reinstall ad suggested above as simply deleting the infinite fusions folder did not seem to work?

Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

Hey I reinstalled the game recently before the new update. I tried to uninstall my preivious files to make way for 6.4.0 but my preloaded folder for 6.2.4 won't uninstall. Windows claims its running somewhere else which isn't true. Any ideas on how to delete the folder so it doesn't take up space?

you can update the things you need to and be fine

download the 6.4 zip, then extract the 2 files in it; drag/drop those into your infinite fusion folder and replace the old files

then run the install_or_update bat file

maybe also delete the data folder

since there will be old info in it that may crash the game after it is updated

delete the following items in your old infinite fusion folder:

then drag the new install_or_update batch file and required_by_installer_updater files you just extracted, plop them in your old folder, then run the installer

Is there currently a way to preload all missing custom sprites? Since I love to do rando runs with "fuse only" + "Custom Sprites only" and I want to include the new pokemon and their fusions as well. Sadly the last months had no sprite packs (only "download everything"), that's why I'm asking.

the customs only option is a bad choice anyway, as it cuts your pool of mons down by quite a bit [also that setting can't account for mons that might have a custom when you get it, but lack a custom in a later form combo]
