Hey, I ran into a big issue with the lightweight installer script. Might need to warn others not to do what I just did... I downloaded the lightweight installer and moved it from my downloads folder to my D:\ drive and chose "extract here" which I guess left it without the game folder at "D:". When I ran the installer it completed but deleted/lost all 700GB of other files on my D drive... I thought it would create or update its own game directory not just give my whole drive the people's elbow

I had the existing game folder on my D drive. Typically an installer will ask for an installation path, see the existing directory, or attempt to create a new directory. I ran the installer on the same drive that my existing InfiniteFusion folder was on. Don't blame the user for something that isn't in the guide lol

I'll have to try again then. I THINK I know what's wrong. Before I installed with the program, I manually selected what was in the folder to delete it. I didn't take into account there might be hidden folders. So, just making a brand new folder to extract the install and stuff to to try again.

Just for anyone curious using an older Mac, I did everything using Wineskin and it worked fine. Downloaded the new .bat file and replaced it in my game folder, ran it in Wineskin, took about 20-30 minutes updating from 6.2.4 and seems to work well.

We renamed the app to InfiniteFusionLauncher. In doing that, it broke the button to update. To fix:

1. Click the Update button. A mediafire page will open. Close the app.
2. Redownload the Setup zip from mediafire, extract it, and run it again.
3. This will install InfiniteFusionLauncher.
4. Uninstall the old app - Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type InfiniteFusionApp, right click and select Uninstall

i think your defender might have been quarantining or deleting files then. the ones from that google doc are complete files that dont return that error you are getting.

Hey @gray bronze! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

bsaically low quality mode for the game. does magic to make it faster for players, but does come with drawbacks like sprites missing. you should turn off download data too from in game settings

Anyone having sprites not import/update? I have some missing so I put them in the to-import as usual and the restart found them, said it worked (and the files are moved) but then in game I still just don't have them. I've additionally tried manually putting the files in the correct indexed location (instead of local_sprites) and checked the sprite map only to find it WAS there still. Still nothing. Tried adding a copy of it as an 'a' and even adding it to the a spritemap--still nothing. In game the dex just shows the autogen twice but without letting you swap to the second auto in absolutely all steps I've tried.
