Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Hey @languid radish! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

so what normally happens is that Sprites are automaticaly downloaded into your game as you play

the reason why we're making you do this workaround is because that sprite server got nuked

and it ain't coming back

so as a temp fix you download all the sprites into your PC so that you don't get missing sprites

instead of the server hosting it for you

when the Newest update comes out (slated for Dec-Feb)

we go back to that old system

so if you don't mind waiting 1-3 months then the installation process will be much simpiler

Well it’s not really a “random” problem. It’s a problem with the files being injected with random garbage by the fake site to make the game break

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites from in game settings, save your game, and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder. These files are your new game folder. Don't mix them with your old files.
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

If you did ALL above, share a screenshot of you doing step 6 of the guide to show us your game files.

Unsure if this is a known bug or common issue, searched around a bit but couldn't find it exactly, sorry if it's a repeat. Sometimes the sprite (using the newest beta client) doesn't match the pokemon (such as "Uncute" there).

It's not all pokemon, but it happens now and then. If I then find the pokemon in the dex and go to the sprites it will all appear normal and fix itself.

I'm not playing randomized or anything, I did see a message saying to shuffle if playing on a randomized mode but this is just vanilla. Overall very minor issue but wanted to check/report it if needed

Hey @sterile pivot! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

App Installer Update:

Whenever I load up the game it for some reason immediately opens up my save file then opens/closes the pokedex entry for my starter(squirtle)
I can press other buttons, but it keeps spamming whatever button that makes it so the pokedex keeps opening and closing

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:
