1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)

Hey @severe shuttle! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

How to get Mimikyu to spawn:

1. You have to leave the room and come back for it to reset
2. **IMPORTANT ** Before playing the piano, use the Image below. These are the Register points for each room. Make sure to walk over those squares facing those directions multiple times for the puzzle to recognize you "Been" to each room. This is the reason for it to not spawn correctly.
3. Play the piano and interact with the doll. It will say "This wasn't here before" and should be in a different location now. Move to the room the doll is in and interact with it.
4. Repeat these steps until the doll is on top of the piano.
5. Talk to the doll on the piano and that is when you get the "Run away" sound cue. This means if you go to the entrance room, Mimikyu will be there.

-** IF THE DOLL GETS STUCK**, repeat step 1 to reset the room and try it again. Step 2 is important for the doll to not get stuck.

From my testing, changes made in Game-preloaded.exe does not carry over to Game.exe, and it's causing me a huge headache because Game.exe wouldn't detect most of my controller's buttons except triggers while Game-preloaded.exe detects just fine.

Likely the previous versions you had were not preloaded, but used the repo.

On top of that, preloading has always been problematic for android. Android as an OS is not meant to work nicely with 300.000+ imges

Thats why we created a special preloaded file for android this time. Which is 200.00+ files lighter and still has all the custom sprites

Hey @white crescent! Sprite Server is Down but the guide below has the Semi-Working version for Android. YOU WILL STILL HAVE MISSING SPRITES, but the best we can do until the Sprite Server is back up.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

To Fix:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the corrupted save file (File A.rxdata for example)
4. Reopen the game. If the error continues, that means you didn’t delete the correct file.

Hey @fallen void! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

How to Fix Manually

The problem is not on the PC, I played the game minutes before and everything was normal, it just started closing automatically when I opened it after I updated.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

Hey @pastel grove! Sprite Server is Down but the guide below has the Semi-Working version for Android. YOU WILL STILL HAVE MISSING SPRITES, but the best we can do until the Sprite Server is back up.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

I got a 5600X and it also extracted extremely slow for me as well. This is due to the huge number of files the archive file has, it's like 400000 files.

Also make sure you’re using WinRAR, not windows default extraction tool.

1. as the guide says ... Extraction is entirely pc performance
2. not using winrar/7zip or similar software increases the extraction massively
3. extracting on an external drive is typically slower and takes longer
4. ANY antivirus can slow down the extraction (even the default windows defender)
