I followed all the steps through the guide. But it only gave me 162,294 sprites out of 221,390 and when i played i used fusiondex website and noticed that the only sprites it didn't give me were ones that didn't have customs. Like Necrorunt #450.425 (I should also explain that i'm playing with randomizer mode which is why this guy popped up really early into my run.)

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Hey @zinc crane! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

i did ig it fixed itself by having the app open for a bit bc it just popped up but im still stuck on the black screen. and id like to say my computer has pretty good hardware idk whats wrong. Hey @harsh valve! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Actually i did something which helped tremendously, after hours of trying to move the unzipped files i gave up. I zipped the file again, but this time with zero compression. I moved the file on my phone insanely fast and then extracted it insanely fast. The total operation took like 10 minutes total where it would have taken a litteral day otherwise!

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. How to do that
3. Delete the .git folder you will see in your folder now
4. Delete your Data folder (This will reset your game data, but it will keep your save data)
5. Update Again by double clicking on INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat
6. Double click Game to open the game.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)

you extract the zip into that folder

when you right click the zipped file, it should pull up a little menu

look for an option that says extract to location or something to that effect

and then point it at that empty folder'

either that or drag the zipped file into the folder, then go into the folder and right click and choose extract here

your best bet at this point is clear our your download folder entirely, if you have winrar installed you don't need it in the download folder

You can press F1 (FN + F1 on laptops) to change your keybindings!

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

Heyo, where is the player data kept? I need to do a fresh install but would rather not lose my progress so I want to make a backup

saves are not stored with the game files. the only reason you would lose your save is if you manually went to where they are kept and deleted them
