could try just giving it some time, make sure there is enough storage left of on C drive (deep in the system is where the cache builds up), try giving your PC a restart (using the actual restart option in the windows menu)

Hey @dawn turtle! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

there's the complex method of manually moving the file from point a to point b [i.e., hook your phobile device to your pc, and drag/drop the save into the correct place]

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.

Hello, I'm having a strange issue I can't seem to find a fix too.
Issue: Pokemon Infinite Fusion crashes my entire PC apon starting the application.
Issue started after I opened the game launcher and was met with an update required notice. I update the game following all the steps provided. Game finishes updating, I press play then Boom 💥 the Loading screen pops up and then the entire PC freezes. I'm unsure of what has gone wrong. I restarted the PC, opened the app launcher again. And it has said my files are corrupted, it then prompts to uninstall and reinstall the launcher and game, it does so, then lets me relink my save, I do so and start it again. But I then have the same issue of the application crashing my entire PC. Any ideas on fixes?
Specifics: Windows 11
High end PC, never had this issue with the game before this update.

Nope, the game window seems to just completely freeze along with the entire PC. Ill do it again and send an image of the screen for better clarification.
This is a 35 second clip of it happening it looks as if the application is just loading but the entire PC has frozen at the point of the application showing the loading screen. I noticed as I had a YouTube Video running on the second monitor that just froze with the PC

Starting the game from the app results in the same crash. I'm 100% it's not a performance issue. My assumption would be something was corrupted after the update. I'll sit and look through the preferences issues. But as stated the PC's "preformance" is not the issue

if it was corrupted, you can delete the Data folder and manually run the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat from the game folder, that wont do any harm

@fading igloo unfortunately it might not be. There is never a 100% garentee for anything friend. The game worked fine before the update but after the update it does not. The logic is that it's an issue with the update. Not hard to put 2 and 2 together.

Hey @tribal lodge! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

But i cannot remember seeing my device as working on that list since 6.0.0
(And it worked super well with 6.2.2)

well, that section is pretty "new-ish" .... that came with 6.1.4 i think ... however .. newer phones have issues with the game ... for whatever reason .... if reinstalling still doesnt work,
the last thing i can recommend is restart your phone and clear app cache ...

Hello, I tried to downolaod the preloaded sprites but after draging "custombattlers" and opening this folder in graphics I only had ONE folder and sprites, then when i wanted to launch "Game.exe" I did not find it so I launched "Game-Default", strangely I did not have a black screen or anything but the game told me I got the new sprites imported. But when I check my pokémons, they have no sprite, as if nothing happened. Can anyone help me ?

i think frog found a home, but moving 400K images isn't easy, plus i think the new place has a download limit, which once reached would work much like google drive did for game downloads [when that was a thing] and people wouldn't be able to download sprites via that option until a set period of time passed
but we'll know more once things are fully set in stone
