most cases of corrupted save files are due to auto save. Closing the game while auto save will corrupt. so probably turn that off

Hey @shadow quartz! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Hey y'all, I just got all the sprites downloaded and put the custom battlers folder into my graphics folder, but the game isn't pulling the prites from the folder still and I'm unsure as to why. My old saves are missing sprites, including player sprites, and when I try to start a new save, I get stuck on the parsing custom sprites folder screen. Anybody run into this issue before?

but ALL sprites are down, so we are providing a zip with everything

Once you get in game also, hold shift and run in a circles to fix your character sprite

To Fix:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the corrupted save file (File A.rxdata for example)

I installed the game recently, and using the tool i tried to install the custom sprites, but it did not work. And it redirected me to the full game .zip with all sprites. And it takes a LONG LONG time to extract (more than 24h) even tho i don't have a bad PC.

Also, if you have an antivirus I suggest you pausing it. Others have reported that their antivirus is scanning each file as it is extracting.

The 6.2 update added limited trainer sprite customization, but it is a teaser to the full implementation. Please be patient until the next larger update where you can customize your trainer further since only 3 outfits are available at the moment. The old way of changing custom player sprites will not work anymore.

At the moment, you can only customize existing characters from your bedroom or 2F Hotel Wardrobes.

I made a mistake. I was IFapp installer and started downloading sprites not realizing the sprite Downloader was down and i ended up dumping all of the sprites. Would downloading the full sprite pack fix it or do I need to re-download the full game?

Hey @hard flare! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game
