Steps:

Lightweight Installer:

Remix mode and Expert difficulty cannot have randomized trainers. Doing so will result in the game crashing when battling trainers because Remix and Expert have specific set of trainer data that cannot be randomized.

To fix the issue:

Hey @fresh jackal! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

So I’ve got an issue that I’m gonna try and fix later but I just want to check.

So I got the game (Loving it) but I got stuck in the Porygon puzzle. It basically was standing by the exit and no matter what I did it didn’t move

I ended up using the debugger to escape which worked

The issue is now I can’t catch pokemon, the same message comes up when I tried to catch a porygon in cyberspace

My plan is to go back and follow a YouTube tutorial for the exact porygon puzzle which I think should end it, but I’m not sure

Please be patient until the next larger update where you can customize your trainer further since only 3 outfits are available at the moment. You have to download UpdatesSprites.zip, then extract. Move Graphics into your InfiniteFusion folder as the guide mentions

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get the sprites to work. I freshly installed the game into my downloads folder. I open up the game and the sprites are either missing or a ?. When I toggle the sprite download option on and off, it'll update that sprite but no others. I went to install sprites via the game launcher. When i try to download the sprites I get a popup wanting me to sign up for gitlab. Is this required? Everytime I close the gihub sign-up window it says download failed and asks if I want to try manual install.

So for some reason my game won't load sprites anymore. Specifically the fusion sprites appear as the white circle with a question mark, but also regular ones sometimes don't properly load and there is just no place holder at all, it's just empty space. I tried running the "INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bad" and also reinstalling the game entirely (with the loader from the original Pokecommunity site). Internet connection is also not a problem. Can anyone help? You should try to read NPC dialogue! They give very good hints on how to continue the game. Sometimes they also give you items! Don't forget to talk to NPC's and read what they say.

Just FYI

I am going to create a Preloaded Game Link. This will contain the full game with sprites setup for you already. So you will just need to download, extract, and be good to play without moving sprites. ETA: ~30 min

This will work for PC. It will work for Mac, Steam Deck, Linux as long as you still follow those guides to setup.

Android is unfortunately left out at the moment.

How to update a game, when .bat files can't be executed on your Android phone? I want to save my run, and not to start all over again on new version

Hey @frosty wraith! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Hey @frosty wraith! If you are on version 5.3.1.2 and higher, follow the info below. If you are on a version lower or don't see the files, you will need to reinstall the game in a new folder using our guides (this doesn't delete your save): [HERE](#tech-support message)

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Both options will update the game files for you. If it didn't, rerun the update and wait for it to finish. Take and share a screenshot of the window to #tech-support

the sprite repo does NOT affect the game, you will just not seeing sprites, but you cna play

also, you can also install preloaded sprites in case .. or you wait until megaman uploaded the preloaded game

Hey @crude shale! Do you need to install sprites? No. The game by default install sprites as you encounter Pokemon over the internet. No need to install anything.

Why do we have sprite packs? If you have unstable internet, you can use the sprite packs to install them manually using this Guide.
