First happened after the randomize settings screen, and it was giving the "This can take awhile" while it randomzied the routes.

Second one happened again as I confirmed the Randomized settings options, I briefly got the audio that plays while it processes. Then it locked up with that error

Delete your game folder (this doesn't affect your save) and download the game from here: Link

Extract it into a new folder but make sure to leave it in your Downloads folder and open Game.exe from it. This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files.

Reshuffle the game and try again. If the issue persists, your computer is not able to handle the file randomization

Yeah it’s weird, I didn’t see anything that would’ve suggested it wasn’t a real high quality product. I’m guessing they use your game and add their own things to it, or maybe just use a copy of your game and make money from ads and hits they get and they don’t add viruses (I’m hoping that’s it)

Usually what they do is take a copy of our game then add things to it via the code so it on the surface seems like its legit then when you run the Game it starts working with the potentially virus ridden code

just activate the boots on save 1 [this is an example], then exit to title screen, and load up save 2 [the save without the boots]

the debug option will still be available in the menu, you can that go into it, and give yourself the boots

We don’t really help with file modification, but there is a Fonts folder in your game folder with 8 fonts. That is where you can play around with diff fonts, but no telling which font belongs to which text

Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it.
6. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

When first battling a trainer, they randomize between the different sprites it has. If you ever don’t like one, you can change it from the Pokédex and it will lock it on.

Save File Corruption
This is usually due to an issue with your computer or just the way you are closing your game.

I suggest turning off auto save. If you in the middle of saving and close the game too soon, your save will be corrupted.

if you save, but walk around a bit and it triggers auto save and you didnt know and closed the game during auto save, it can corrupt

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Hello, Im doing a randomizer run and using an old save file but keep finding unknown items. I assume its because the save file is old but when I run an update and start over again nothing changes. Anyway to get these unknown items from popping up?

unknown items is an item you can get in randomized. if you want to reshuffle items use help man to rerandomize it

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.
