To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

easiest way would be, to do ng+
itll transfer all your mons, and put them at lvl 5 and in their base forms
make sure to unfuse everything, and give each one the stone they need to evo before
then once you start ng+ go to the suit guy in pokecenters and ask him to fix the game
then evo them and you should be good

Dont think we have anything set up for Arch based distros, you'd have to do some experimenting.
I'd suggest using the non-installer version, then trying to get that exe to run through a compatibility layer like lutris.

Pretty sure i've gotten it to work through lutris a long time ago on steamdeck

(the same download file as in the linux ubuntu guide, that just pulls directly from the git repo)

Do you need to install sprite packs? No. By default the game will install sprites and all new monthly sprites on its own. This is done as you encounter Pokemon.

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)

When i run through grass and use the pkmn radar i will almost always encounter fusions instead of one of the listet. and when i run through a cave and use repel after three steps the first fusion will bother me. i talked already to the help dude in the pkmn center but that didn’t help.

Pokeradar is specific in regards to what your lead pokemon is. If it isn't around the same level as the patch of grass you are in, it doesn't work.

Hello, Ive downloaded and played the game on my desktop before and im just trying now to play on my laptop. Ive redownloaded the installer and the classic mode works fine, but any time i try to make a randmoized playthrough it crashes my laptop. It alwas crashes at the same part of the start up where it says 150000 sprites found, so im wondering if its trying to download them all at once rather than when they are needed in game? i dont know how to fix that or see the preference for sprite downloads in the launcher.

There should be switches. If you enable the switch, that means it adds a NoMedia file to that folder so all the images/audio from that folder won’t go into your gallery
