There is a Steam Deck bug where some Steam Decks don't like it when you right click Game.exe and add it to the steam library. Instead you can do the below:

1. Open steam in desktop mode
2. Right click the game, and remove from Steam Library (this will delete your save. Backup your save if you have one)
3. On steam, click the button + Add Game on the bottom left and click Add Non Steam Game
4. Click Browse and navigate to Game.exe and click OK
5. Go back to gaming mode and set compatibility again to Proton GE and try opening the game

Lead just now was a level 46 Shelgon. It's a little underlevel against most of the wild mons here, Bibarel I think does spawn at that range as the pokeradar target. Is it only against the wild mons levels?

Hey @agile valley! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game (this will delete the Data folder and bring it back for you)

Afterwards, reopen the game.

that happens if you start a new game+ from a previous save which was made before the 6.2 update ... youre on a map that isnt used anymore, so the game crashes

you might have to reinstall the game files and then start a NEW GAME (not new game+)

So... I just installed the game yesterday. after starting a first save (save data A), I started another one to play with my friends (save data B), and played on that save for a few hours before stopping. when saving, I decided to overwrite save data A since I would mostly be playing with my friends anyway. I also had the auto save ON. Today I launched the game and I see that the game did not save my playthrough at all. from what I can see from the last modification of the save file, it was last changed when I first launched savedata A and changed the options of the game itself, like music volume and that.
since I doubt I can recover that savefile, is there anything I can do to avoid reproducing this problem in the future ?

Unless your game files are syncing back to OneDrive, the save functionality is pretty basic. So when you manually save, it saves the file there on the spot. It would have to be something on your computer that reverted it back since there is no rollback type of code or feature in this game.

Remix mode and Expert difficulty cannot have randomized trainers. Doing so will result in the game crashing when battling trainers because Remix and Expert have specific set of trainer data that cannot be randomized.

To fix the issue:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Yes. The game itself is just a folder of files. You can move the InfiniteFusion folder to your downloads folder on your C:/Users/YourName/Downloads for example

I am suggesting the Downloads folder because a lot of windows devices have onedrive setup and the Downloads folder doesn't synch to onedrive by default

Yeah most of the performance is on your CPU. The game has a lot of on the fly calculations/loading or internet from downloading so many sprites. But yeah not all computers are fast enough for it since 6.0 changes

Preloaded is only for computers that perform poorly or if you want to play 100% offline. Otherwise, open Game.exe and the game will open without crashing.
Preloaded doesn't work out of the box. You need to set it up using either of the two guides below:

1. Preloaded Guide using our New App Installer (best if you have stable internet): Guide
2. Manual Preloaded Guide using a zip file (best for those with slow/unstable internet): Guide

I have legit tried for hours on two different handhelds trying to figure out how to bind joiplay controls to gamepad controls on a handheld. Anyone with experience doing so?
