i.e., completely delete all files outside save data, restart to ensure that went through properly, and then grab a fresh install of the game from here

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)

Hey @hybrid rune! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.

minor typo bug, posting here in case it's known. For clarity/correct ability text, the MErcilress ability should read "Attacks against poisoned targets are critical hits". Read-as-Written, it implies your pokemon should be poisoned (ala the Guts ability)

I have actually completed two quests and should have two in progress. tried quiting to title and loading save, no change. tried fix guy in the pokecenter, added two more completed quests to quest log. three of which are mushroom gathering, two are lost medicine. quest log also says I finished bug evolution, I haven't.

I don't remember which order I completed them this time, though I usually do Lost Medicine first, then get the bug quest, then complete the Mushroom Gathering quest. Shoot, I should have alos mentioned this was randomized, not sure if that should impact anything like this.

This allows me to set her Pokemon and levels for the fight, but crashes upon saving her team. When returning to the game without magic boots enabled, she maintains the set team before the crash.

And ever since updating the game has stopped working.

Ok so

I deleted every thing infinite fusion off of my computer besides the app/installer

bc i was already having this issue

so then i completely redownload the entire game and custom sprites

and when it auto boots up what im greeted with is the loading screen working perfectly fine, but instead of the opening cinematic when the screen enlarges, its just....black. nothing shows up, no sound at all

and then i have to boot up task manager just to exit out of it

you just installed custom sprites which are over 154,881 sprites. Your computer needs time to sort them into the appropriate folders. The duration is totally on your PC

I click new game, and when I go to enter a name or just click continue, the game freezes up. It opens a text box if I click continue, but no text appears

I'm new here so sorry if I word things incorrectly. If so then please let me know where to raise this concern. I'm on game version 6.2.2 and app v 2.9.8.7, when I click play it goes to the smaller loading screen but stays a blank black screen and then closes out.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat
4. Reopen the game

1. Open the app installer
2. Click Settings
3. Click open Game Folder
4. Delete the data folder (this won't delete your save)
5. Update the game again using the Installation Menu -> Update Game (this will bring back the data folder) and say you are already on 6.2.2
6. Try opening the game again

The indexed folder is where sprites go when they are sorted and like "verified" that they are good sprites and in the right format

so if you put in a bad sprite, it will crash your game
