Randomised mode is only offered if you already have a save file, so that people will play classic mode for their first playthrough.
You can start a game, save, quit, and start a new game if you want to play random, but it's not recommended to randomise trainers for your first time.

Hi, I've been doing randomized runs with the "found TMs" setting turned on. But the game doesn't seem to be randomizing the TMs I find. They have all been in the exact same spots in each of three runs. Is this a known issue or is this just affecting my game?

Can you delete your Data folder (this doesn't delete your saves) and update again. We have seen recent issues of old data affecting the update and try again. This just resets the game data, not your saves.

This will delete your randomizer though if you ok with that. You would have to rerandomize

I am also going to test it right now. Do you happen to know where I can find a TM on the floor off the top of your head?

One example, which is really obvious to me is the 95 power special Psychic move (I think it's called Moonblast). I always find it on top of Mt. Moon before the Observitory. It sticks out, because it is one of the most powerful moves and I get it every time.

it is likely you are trying to randomize remix/expert mode with randomized trainers which is causing the error.

That no media file it creates, if you copy and paste that into your root folder for InfiniteFusion, might do the trick without needing to put it in a lot of folders

but you are welcome to find alternatives. That is the one we used because it was free and working at the time. Haven't seen complaints about the NoMedia app other than 1 other person

6. Try opening the game again

This is a known thing since last update (trainer sprite methods were changed)
old saves which still used the old method of trainer sprites were messed up. simply holding shift while walking (or whatever you have set "run" to) fixes it.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Sprites automatically install to the latest version as you play the game. But if you manually install sprites, it just replaces existing sprites you have with new ones
