That isn’t how you create a shortcut. All the files need to be in the game folder

Right click Game.exe, click show more options, click create a shortcut or pin to taskbar

If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

Be aware, pressing F1 to remap controllers will not work. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses. Ex: A button to Accept/Confirm = C Keyboard Key

Preloaded is only for computers that perform poorly or if you want to play 100% offline. Otherwise, open Game.exe and the game will open without crashing.

this game just uses wifi for sprites. With no wifi, your sprites will be ? marks unfortunatelly unless you install sprites. But as I was saying, android is not meant to handle zips with 100-300k sprites. So unless you have a computer, better to set it up on your computer and transfer to Android instead of doing it on your Android itself

but yeah I tried it myself and after 2 hours, it was still at 43% extracted when trying to setup preloaded on android

Also, I dont know if this is an appropiate place to make such a request, I think that the mobile project should be picked up again using the lightweight installer to make github repository calls directly to the mobile device internal storage in the same fashion it does on PC. With the raw files from the git pull JoiPlay can see/run/save the game. I have created my own small applet in Kotlin and Java but i think it more appriopiate for the original developers to do fine tweaking because of design and branding reasons.

The creator of the game has no interest in supporting mobile. The game is only developed for Windows and no other platforms.

The other platforms you can play the game are just workarounds to make the game run, but it is intended to only be developed and optimized for windows. If you want to DM the creator, you can try and he can get back to you if he wants to proceed with that, but he has been vocal about not wanting to develop outside of Windows

When I open up the launcher, it tells me to update the game. It says it will install it for me. I click OK, it closes out, but when I reopen it it's not updated. I need to update from 2.9.3 to 2.9.8.2, if that helps. I looked up how to update and it says to use the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE from inside the game files but I didn't want to break the game on accident from messing with files. Should I go ahead and extract the file and run the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE? I'm just being extra cautious lol
