Yeah we tried it with another user yesterday and it will install that version of the update so that is why we updated the guide for it. If it didn't work, then it didn't work. Nothing we can do about it.

Wine is not updated for MacOs 14.5 so you'd need to wait for that to play this game

If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

Be aware, pressing F1 to remap controllers will not work. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses. Ex: A button to Accept/Confirm = C Keyboard Key

Do you need to install sprite packs? No. By default the game will install sprites and all new monthly sprites on its own. This is done as you encounter Pokemon.

I would recommend to stick to just deleting/moving Games, and not trying to delete other system files

the only thing Steam Deck hides from uninstalling/removing is shaders. They also don't do a good job naming shaders

So if you delete the wrong one, you made the performance worse on a game and it will probably redownload it again

I suggest uninstalling rpg maker and reinstalling. Same with Joiplay. Make sure when it asks for permissions, to allow them. Since it says it cannot load something, might be cause you didn’t give it permissions.

RGSS script stuck means you interrupted the game while it was loading
using metronome might crash the game because it chooses a random move .. and if it uses a move thats not correct scripted in the game, it just crashes

Preloaded doesn't work out of the box. You need to set it up using either of the two guides below:

Trying to edit code to enable cheats will NOT work. Magic boots are only available from in game rewards by catching the 470 Base Pokemon.
