Hey. I got a weird bug rn. After I use my poke radar I immediately get encounters for each step or turn in the grass. It only stops when I go out of the grass, but starts right again after I use my radar. It makes chaining or just trying to get to the shaking grass impossible.

I tried the following things:
Changed my lead pokemon (to a pokemon below the level of the grass and higher) (I've read in bug reports that this helped someone who got a similar bug)
Other grass in the same place (or different places entirely - doesn't change)
Fusion Incense (Changes most of the encounters to fusions)

If you don't have the drive_c shortcut you need to find it here: Contents/SharedSupport/prefix/drive_c.

You basically need to move your save file out of here, and reinstall the game using the files from the video. You can start at 05:30 of the video cause you have everything installed prior.

ah its fine now adonis helped by giving the repo link so i can download the game and its working fine at v6.0.5 but the problem was just me not been able to download the game buy way of installers (Both of them) neither worked for some reason i thought that it was bc of me having windows store disable but was told it was not needed i followed the guides but the download with just not completing or it did but the application did not want to open

Hey @cloud nacelle! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

and you turned the download sprites option off, backed out of the menus, went back in, turned it on, and still nothing

Hey @rapid ledge! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Since you installed the preloaded sprites, you have like 99% of the sprites. The sprite team adds new sprites daily, so that is why you got the error. Because they added new custom Base Sprites. So only way for preloaded to get them is to use the Sprite Menua and click Install Custom Sprites.

That is the bad thing about Preloaded, you don't get sprite updates when they come out

Hey @graceful zenith! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

I figured it out, i have a slow old PC so i had the windows audio system stopped in systemconfiguration. activating this and rebooting the PC fixed the issue! TY to @fading igloo for helping me see what the issue was.

I tested, and it's looking like the 5.3 mobile version is working for PC, but being the mobile version it doesn't come with the old "alternative launcher" that used to pre-load stuff to make the game run faster.

(I don't wanna grab it from some 3rd party website because I don't trust, or wanna support those guys).

Yeah unfortunately we don't support old versions so we aren't able to add preloaded to an old version if our link doesn't contain it already. Your only way to increase performance would be to put the sprites into the game folder to increase performance to rely less on the internet

so you need a little background in terminals. The reason it fails is because you are trying to run the file without being in that folder.

Your terminal is currently in your user directory. you need to navigate to where your game folder is through the terminal

because how terminals work is when you execute commands, it is based on the current folder your terminal opens to.

So you would need to provide that path into the terminal:

Hello everyone. I updated the game today and it's been some time since I last did, and one thing I noticed in the new game files is that there is no alternate launcher, launcher I used because of the long time the game took loading maps with the normal one. I've now tried the two new non-preloaded launchers and I'm facing the same problem. Before I download all the preloaded sprites, is using the preloaded version going to fix this? I don't think my internet connection is the problem, but I might be missing something

So I installed everything (on mobile) according to the Google drive guide up to step 10, but even after watching the video at the top, I still can't figure out exactly how to add a .nomedia file to the folder

It shows all folders your phone has with media in it (photos, videos, etc)

If you enable the switch on the folder, it adds the nomedia file for you
