We don't have a "fix" for your error because it doesn't happen at all and is directly an issue with your computer.

Only thing I can recommend is either:

1. Try again, could have been a hiccup
2. Use the App Installer instead
3. Delete that sprite. Sprites are installed as you encounter pokemon anyways, so you will get it back eventually

Hey, So I am playing this on my my MacBook pro. In the attached photo The tile sets are not ‘spawning’ right I guess is the way to say it. This is my first time every using home-brew or downloading stuff like this so please be patient with me. I used the homebrew, wine, and infinite fusion links provided by the official discord and the official mac installation youtube video. The mac is Mid-2014 and I used home-brew to bring my OS up to Monterey Version 12.7.4. I have tried both game.exe and preloaded version but I still have issues where the tile sets black out. The issue occurs alot in the game.exe version both inside and outside but the preloaded some seems to happen when I can outside on routes. The engine I am using in the Wineskin Winery is WS12WineCX64Bit23.7.1.

the zip when you download it should be ~586 mb. When you extract, it is about 750 mb

that launcher is broken, it was recently coded to delete itself whenever someone tried to run it, this was intentional because the launcher broke long ago

your game is still on your pc and you can start it manually through the game folder

Probably a long shot, as I think I have multiple problems with my game. Firstly it crashes on startup about 80% of the time. Just 2 seconds of the loading screen and then it crashes without error messages.
When I do get it to work, I get seemingly random script errors, that crash the game.
Mostly when I start battles, sometimes when I enter buildings, sometimes just walking around or even just clicking "New Game".
I was playing randomized, but it also happens in normal mode.
I tried reinstalling lots of times, getting nowhere.

i dont play on mobile, but since i spend much time here, debug mode is already enabled ... so just open the ingame menu and check if debug is an option, if not, check your key items bag for magic boots .. if theyre also not there you ont hve debug mode

Hello, does anyone else have the same problem as me? After i downloaded both infinite fusion zip and sprite pack January, the game itself doesn't have any problems.

But the thing is, when i play the other game, Monster Hunter World (MHW), the game keeps crashing.

I try to find the cause and try delete it all of the game file, Pokémon and MHW. Then i try download MHW back. When i play it, it run smoothly.

Then i downloaded infinite fusion zip and sprite pack back. Then MHW crash again . (Sorry for the blur cause for some reason i cant screenshot it)

So with that issue it sucks cause they deleted their save. So anything I say, can't be used because they won't get that error anymore.

They would need to reinstall and the very first error they get, share and fix. Hard to troubleshoot something when it is a collection of errors and each one is different.

1st issue is about the pokemon's abilities/sprites
2nd issue is for their save file
3rd issue is the joltik they got from wondertrade acting up

Hey @vital scarab! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

you are using the discontinued launcher. This isn’t a bug. It won't work anymore

Your game files and saves are still there. You can either:

1. Use the game folder and double click on Game.exe to open the game

You can either:

Keep trying until it works. Someone said they did it 32 times before it worked. This is a JoiPlay feature. Any issue with that is on Joiplay’s end not ours

i somehow fixed this by switching the user account control to the lowest stage, opened the launcher again and run the game through it (it didnt pop up again) and then changing the user account control back to the level it was before

@topaz dome just FYI, I updated the app to not open the game in admin mode. I believe you ended up moving your save to the admin account so you are good now.

But if you wanted to get the fix for it, rerun the setup file will fix it so that you don’t have to use the admin account folder anymore. You’d have to move your save file back too 😅

Hey @sterile pivot! This game is not made for mobile! The only workaround is to install JoiPlay, but any performance issues, bugs, or issues with Android are not fixable. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.
