You might have another copy of the game on your phone that’s why. I verified and the link gets it straight from the game repo. So it’ll always be the latest version. So you must be using the wrong files on your phone

Yes, say files can be transferred to any device as long as you put them in the right directory. I’ll be honest I don’t use Linux other than with steam deck or Work so I’m not sure where to place them

Hey @mild trellis! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Hey @old citrus! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

2. Open the shortcut named SaveFile
3. That takes you to the Save folder

IF you have some (but not all) sprites, and go past the intro screen fast enough. It will not instantly crash on boot.

Then it will however crash when you encounter/look at a mon with a missing sprite.

the intro randomly grabs/checks sprites and will crash when it encounters an unknown one.

Obviously it handles roms great, but a lot of pokemon fan games are made through rpg maker or are standalone. Great for plug-and-play on a pc or mobile depending on the game, but makes it a little trickier on a dedicated rom machine. Even the steamdeck stuff is mostly helped with the linux os having a more standard interface

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.

4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

Some laptops/PCs are set up with OneDrive and you can't remove. Just depends. But the message that pops up is just a warning since OneDrive does break this game. You can press OK on the message and it will try continue installing

You can stop synching OneDrive also: STOP SYNCH

I need some help. I whited out, warped to a Pokemon center, and then the nurse turns around but doesn't heal my Pokemon and the game just sits there forever. Closing and reopening the game doesn't help as the game autosaved when I teleported to the center, and every time the game just gets stuck in the healing cutscene. Is my save bricked?

Hey there, I followed all the instructions for using the launcher (wanted to do preloaded so I wouldn't have to download as I saw em) and the game was on the black screen for like 2 hours so I left it and went to do something else. When I came back a few hours later, the main screen was up but the rgss error was there as well so I had to close it, when I tried to launch it again it went back to the black screen and has been there for a couple hours again, my computer is fairly old so that's most likely the reason, I'd just like to know if there's any way I can make it not take as long?
