I learned recently with Windows, shutting down has been acting like "sleep" vs actual shut down also. So I have been restarting my computer vs shutdown more often. There are settings in like Power Mode that prevent it from shutting down, it is like just hibernating for a faster startup time

Yeah "power off" actually does not turn off your pc on windows.
It stores a lot off data in active memory for faster boots. I know there is a way to force cold boots (aka. actual restarts) but that requires some googling

the game works the same on PC as on other devices because it is the same game files and only developed for Windows.

So yes if you wanted all of the sprites, download the sprite packs into your Graphics/CustomBattlers folder and it will import them into your game. There are currently about 181k custom sprites though so probably a better idea to do it on PC and transfer to your other device that way. We also have a sprite installer. Everything is pinned in this channel

If you see "File A.rxdata" for example, that is your save file, but if you don't see it from opening your game that means it is corrupted

yeah not sure. Playing the game normal doesn't corrupt saves, but as I mentioned, looks liek you changed code to enable cheats so that might be affecting it

also if your computer shuts down before the save was saved successfully can cause corruption

Might be because of a misconfigured system, faulty install, misuse of game files or whatever. We are not magicians, we cannot fix your system for you.

I will recommend that you do not unlock debug mode without legit obtaining it. Many of the methods out there are sloppy and we've seen them result in many different types of bugs.

the patcher was mostly used on an older version on the game, results are VERY varied.

If you are seeing instructions for the RGA file, you are looking at the Fake Website. That is the only website that still show these old outdated instructions and anything you downloaded from there should be deleted

The RGA file actually breaks the Android game and reverts it back to 5.3.1.2 while still saying 6.0.5 and removes 6.0 functionality. We DO NOT recommend using any patch files

You can try optimizing maps on android, but this is a very common issue with it. If optimizing maps doesn’t work then that’s just how it is. I know some routes are like this and can’t be fixed.

think of it this way: every question mark IS A CUSTOM SPRITE, but your game is like "I CANT DOWNLOAD THEM BECAUSE I HAVE NO CONNECTION TO THE SPRITE DATABASE, SO I WILL SHOW A QUESTIONMARK"

A workaround is to install PRELOADED, and NOT THE SPRITEPACKS

Since its our pre-installed tech support verion it does also come with all sprites pre-loaded in the files, so you could play preloaded as well for a little more performance.

If you are tech-capable, Im using Syncthing (which is also available on android) to sync files over my local network.
Just be careful to not open up global discovery or relaying, since that introduces vulnerabilities to your network and thus every device connected to the network.

We are steadily adding modern pokemon here and there, we recently added a bunch more.

I think you will keep it anyway. since joiplay reads/writes a game folder that you pick yourself.
so deleting and reinstalling joiplay probably wont do anything to your saves. If you wanna be safe you can take the saves out of your game install folder and place them somewhere else temporarily.

May I ask why you are updating joiplay? We require a very specific version for the game to even boot (which i am pretty sure is not the latest version)

I followed the tutorial by Megaman to download the game and download the Sprites but the first fusion I got Squirtle/Tangela seemed to only have 2 options. I pretty much just wanted to check if that was right, like some of the fusions only have a couple of options? Or if I had messed up the download somehow to not have the full amount of Custom Sprites? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

• Optimise your maps, this is in the guide.
• Talk to the update man in the pokecenter and have him fix it.
• Restart your game.

On mobile we BARELY can do anything, the game was never made to even run on mobile at all.

Hey @wispy briar! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

yeah since the tech support version is hosted by Google drive vs git, it will work better for slower connections. Only downside is the tech support version contains EVERYTHING, so it is a large file

That is due to your network and computer. It is installing sprites when you encounter a new pokemon. If you want to make it faster, download the custom sprites with the new installer that is pinned
