Yeah this game is only optimized for Windows since it is a windows game, but I found it pretty good on steam deck. There are stutters/lag when going from one area to another but it isn’t that big of a deal for me. It isn’t perfect

Plus less buggy with sprites. Since the files I provide contain all the sprites you still benefit from not connecting to the internet as much

Hello, I'm having issues with the sprite installer, it cannot select the graphics folder because 'game.exe' isn't in a prior folder (I can't even locate it, I have Pokemon Infinite Fusion.exe and Game.ini but not that)

Hey @olive star! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Instead, it shows a void sprite, and THEN creates the missing sprites from the base game, and put them in a new customBaseSprites folder in the CustomBattles folder. Hey @viral kite! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

you could try the opengl compatibility pack, some have reported success with that. But overall this is a problem on your end, not with the game files.

Any chip on this list is basically shit out of luck. as the PIF engine requires opengl 2 or higher to render the game.

the only reason to use game-preloaded is if you have long load times after entering/exiting buildings, or battles

Hey @zealous fern! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

The launcher is not handling the latest update well, so there is mixed success getting the game to update or work at all through the launcher.
You could wait it out on an older version if you do not mind the bugs associated with the older versions. However, I would recommend you install using our Primary installer for now.

Hey @quiet hollow! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Popping in here - Also fell for the pokemoninfinitefusion.net/ site. That said, I have a pretty hardcore antivirus situation that didn't hit any red flags. I deleted all files installed from that website. I wanted to follow up here and see if anyone noticed any long term effects or had to go through any lengthy process to remove files.

Also, my anti-virus did flag the site. However, it only flagged it as having .ROM games and Pop Ups. So, I didn't think to just click on through. Just deleting the files is what you can start with, but doing a virus scan would tell you more. For most, after deleting you should be fine but depends on what changes they make on their scam

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @bleak marsh! This game is not made for mobile! The only workaround is to install JoiPlay, but any performance issues, bugs, or issues with Android are not fixable. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.
