Hey @delicate ferry! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Hey @urban pebble! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

i know exp growth in general was reduce in 6.x. so you will get less exp than other versions

also do you have level cap option turned on inside in game settings? You might be at lvl cap for that pokemon

if the current one has 10 sprites in the animation, you need 10 of them also

Yeah, the save file by default is in a completely different folder than your game. That is why reinstalling or updating the game doesn’t affect your save file.

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Correct if you are using preloaded, you want that to be off so it can use the sprites from your computer not the internet. Also preloaded because it is supposed to not have sprites. Downloading from the Internet has issues when that option is on.

My main question is, does anyone know why my character movement (left and right) work correctly, but in menus left and right are swapped? Up and down are unaffected.

Correct it is because it is downloading the sprites as you encounter the Pokémon. If you wanna avoid that you can use the game – preloaded version of the game but you have to download all of the sprites locally. It is a lot to download but you save performance a lot

After where your game is, there will be a .git folder. Delete that then try running the file again to update

Well, I was unable to update the game from 6.0 to 6.0.3, I tried to repair the game and lo and behold, 7 months of careful sorting of every sprite now gone. So I completely threw away the game, uninstalled and deleted. Tried to get the launcher anew and it doesn't even install every folder for sprites. At that point, I feel like I'm wasting my time. Is the game going to be fixed at some point or is it going to still be a buggy mess you need to manually fix and find roundabout solutions for?

I'll be perfectly honest, I'm absolutely pissed off at that loss. Losing my saves would have been better. Now I basically have nothing and the game doesn't even install everything.

Last thing you could do is search for Windows Security in your search bar for Windows, and then run a Quick Scan of all your files just to confirm with Windows that you didn't actually get a virus

Hey @trim stone! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Is there a way to fix the short lag/hang when the game loads a Japeal sprite? My game seems to take a second to load whenever it has to pull one up, and it's definitely only with the generated ones for some reason.

I'm honestly extremely impressed by the sprite updating/indexing functions. That's stuff I've never seen an RPG Maker game do before.

So I've been playing for a while with a friend of mine, and we both installed the same way (started with the launcher version, ended up switching to the preloaded version and also grabbed the full sprite pack)
My game is hanging a lot though; and hers isn't- my specs are significantly better, too, unless somehow an M.2 drive is being read slower than a HDD...

Times when my game hangs for ~2-3 minutes:
-Every time I launch it, immediately after skipping the opening cutscene (or after letting it play to the end)
-Every time an AI generated sprite needs to load (when opening summary of said pokemon or having it come out in battle)
-Every time a new sprite of any kind is loaded for the first time
-A few other times I haven't pinned down the cause of yet

At first I thought the preloaded version wasn't working properly; so I tried turning the "Download Sprites" option off in-game; no dice. The weirdest thing happened a while after that though... The 'sprite missing' sprite showed up (big circle with question mark). Meaning it wasn't downloading sprites, and I was just hanging... Indexing them? Very odd.
I turned the download option back on and opened the summary of the missing sprite 'mon, and the sprite showed up, as expected... And didn't hang in the slightest to do so.

I'm very confused.

The save file is not stored with the game. The "Savefile" folder is fake. It's a shortcut to the actual save location.
