I went to replace the bag with the custom one in the sprite pack

then realized that i messed up tried to fix the issue

Hey @glacial goblet! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

So I have an update on this error.
The patch that fixes this error also overwrites all new map events that were added in 6.0.0. That means no egg nests, no new quests like the Oricorio quest, no mysterious prisms, no none of that. This somehow retroactively reverts the game back to 5.3.1.2 or whatever the last version is.

I'm not sure how feasible a fix is to this, but this essentially makes it so people on Joiplay cannot access any of the new content.

If you had a good enough phone you wouldn't need the map fix. Your phone isn't loading the assets correctly. The patch sort of assists with that problem. There are tons of people enjoying the 6.0 version on their phone. You'll just have to pay attention to Joiplays discord and see if they update that particular patch

Hey @trim fox! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Mine doesn't make me wait at all. Make sure your "download sprites" option is toggled off. It doesn't need to download anything now that it's all local.

Hey @grave cedar! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Thanks lol. At this point I've got the game running XD. Kinda wanted to keep it running with launcher. That way hopefully if game updates I won't have to lose my save a third time. Last two installs I made it to around saffron and then the game updated and I couldn't keep the save.

But saw the issue that when I extracted the custombattlers it didn't merge the folders for some reason. Now it seems to actually be doing what I told it.

Your save doesn’t get deleted. I go through that in my video too, depending how you add the game, it adds a different folder where your save location is

On steam deck, when you add a game to your library, it creates a new folder. So it is pointing to a new folder, while your prior saves are in a different one

Hey @lunar vector! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

97.g is actually a missing file. You can go to that folder, copy any one of the 97 sprites. Copy and paste it and rename it 97g.png.

So just some background, in 6.0 this broke preloaded. It is expecting ALL customBaseSprites to be in Graphics folder. So someone else helped me generate the sprites to fix this issue, but it looks like some sprites are still missing.

"Game" is if you want to download sprites over the internet as you encounter them but slower performance. Nothing additional needed to play this.
"Game-preloaded" is if you download all the sprites on your computer but faster performance. Sprites are REQUIRED to play this without errors.

Just FYI, I found out the sprite pack doesn't have all of those sprites in customBaseSprites. Darksora generated over 3k on his own for us to use, but not enough sometimes lol it should cover a good range, but if ppl still get the error after adding the sprites, they are actually missing the file and they need to add it themselves

Hey @loud shard! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Usually I install the game to my windows pc and transfer it via USB to my linux laptop but if the launcher doesn't work I'll just run the update executable with wine

your save file isn't in the game folder, so if you put it on your usb you have to copy it to the save file directory each time if you swapping between computers

which file are you using to boot up. also your save file is always in the same directory so if you have prior save files, it will always load that regardless if you reinstall

Hi, I think at some point with one of the sprite updates, I may have done a step wrong because now a few fusion sprites just seem to appear as orbs with question marks, I think it seems any custom fusion sprites are still there and even some of the auto ones but it is still jarring and was wondering if anyone knows what might have went wrong and how to fix it
