Okay looks like I got it fixed by repeatedly reseting the connection via turning the update sprites on and off again a few times.

Hey @vague veldt! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

It was the fusions for Oricorio and Rockruff. The issue pops up in several places like the fusion between Weddle and Venipede or the fusions between Rockruff and Vulpix.

the zip is named "Updated Sprites + Sep Custom.zip" and it has 2 folders inside of it "CustomBattlers" and "Battlers"

Is there a known issue with the randomizer on version 6.0.2? I tried creating a randomized file a few times and tried closing out but each time my static encounter was pikachu and route 1 was pidgey. I wound up replacing the encounters.dat with the randomized encounters and I got the random encounters on the route but the starter was still pikachu (set starter to random)

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

Hey @tidal valley! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

That's what I thought. I went to update the launcher and after it finished supposedly updating, I was completely unable to open the game. So I went to my C: drive like you told another poster and deleted everything there along with the launcher folder, and redownloaded it from the link on the subreddit. If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hey @idle phoenix! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

just making sure you followed all the instructions from the pin. If you miss a step it kinda doesn't work. Game.exe is where your game folder is. Instead of opening Game-preloaded, open Game to import sprites cause it is faster. When done you can close and open Game-preloaded

I think maybe they stopped looking into this bug because there is a "workaround" but you can say you installed sprites and not working for you.
