Hello, I have just downloaded the full sprite pack 1-93, and I have already moved all of them to the "costumebattlers" folder. However, why are there still missing sprites (displaying question marks)? I have repeatedly opened the game application, and the sprites only load incrementally by about 1000 each time I enter and exit the game. Do all these sprites need to go through a process when entering the game?

the alternate launcher is how the game was launched back in the day. It took a lot longer to load the game up but it allows older machines to run the game smoother. But there is no such thing as the dynamic and preloaded version anymore. Dynamic just means you are connected to the internet to download sprites as you play

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Find file via folder search or Windows search, right click open file location, or right click properties.

Part of it explains exactly where the files should be. If they're not there you did it wrong. If that is too complicated, you need to get someone who is better with computers to help you in-person, or take some classes on Windows to improve your PC skills.

There are a lot of free courses on YouTube and some pretty good ones on SkillsShare. It's a good skill to build that can help you later in life or at work, so I recommend leveling up your PC skills.
I work with a lot of people that only have phones so they don't really get what folders are at first. You can do it if you put your mind to it.

Hey @tawdry pewter! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

weird, i reinstalled and did the same thing again and it works now

First try to turn the option to download sprites off and on again. If that doesn't work or if you can't figure out how...
The fix for this is the Sprites.zip fix Hungry Pickle made. The mediafire link is down so here is a mirror:

Extract the contents of Sprites.zip to C:\InfiniteFusion\ using WinRAR or 7-zip. The Graphics folders will merge and you will be asked if you want to overwrite files. Choose ‘Yes to all’. This takes a while.

The keybindings im attempting to remap with a ps5 controller arent being recognized. The key is changing on screen but not doing anything in game. This applies to all keys I try to rebind, once I touch them or change them, that action in gaem is no longer reactive

I deleted and re-mapped the movement tot he same default keys and I could no longer walk. Even clicking the reset to default didnt help, none of the actions I messed with were usable
