If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".

You click any of the options (It works for all 4) and it will have you set Game Difficulty then Game type. After you've selected both of those it will ask if you want to use the regular starters. If you select "No" it will offer starters from different generations and also give you the option to choose a customized starter

If you select randomize, it will obviously ask for randomizer settings before all of that

You can also randomize your starters to fusions btw lol

I don't exactly know what the question is here. Whether or not u used the installer, "uninstalling" the game is simply deleting the files from ur file explorer, yea. However, ur save data isn't contained within the game files. If ur attempting to delete ur save data, deleting the game files and reinstalling won't change anything

Hey @limpid flint! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

However, when I followed the guide and clicked the link to download Hungry Pickle's post I ran it again and it gave me the exact same issue.

Hey @faint moss! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable.

But the hardrive doesn't have that respository that is necessary for this game

Steam can do it cause there is a second set steam library in it, but stuff like this that needs installed works different

That's why the old version worked, but this one didn't. You didn't have to install the older version.

If ur on Windows u should download and extract the infinitefusion.zip in #downloads and run the .bat file

U can delete the other folder if u want, but as long as it remains separate it doesn't matter what u do with it

I've never been able to get this game to work. I gave up on it the first time back in April due to life things happening.

Today I literally reinstalled it from the link in this discord. I followed every bit of info I could find, I closed every other program, shut off the internet on my computer, ran it as administrator, nothing works. After the first green loading screen it goes black and stays black. When I try to close it, it freezes for a while and then I get a pop up saying it needs to terminate and that's it. That's how it's been from the start.

Does anyone have any other ideas I can try?

but I found out if i lose to him a couple times, then his pikadactyl becomes a raidactyl in subsequent fights

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

that file is the game itself, the updater/installer in that file should bring you to the most recent version when its run. Im not sure if running it on your current file will affect your save so i would download the game in a separate folder and after its installed try and make a copy of your save if possible. See if it fixes the issue in your previous version.

I'm not having an issue with Larissa, rather with encountering Latias. I thought it was for every wild pokemon encounter but when I was testing it out in-game, encountering a wild pokemon proceeds as normal. I then thought it was location, but that wasn't it as well. I was able to narrow it down to encountering Latias in particular. And I tried searching the discord but nothing came up. Basically, the screen just stays black when encountering Latias, so it doesn't proceed to the encounter, and it stays black until I restart the game.

Conventional wisdom has been that the installer/updater shouldn't be used to update versions of the game that it hasn't installed itself, so be on the lookout for odd behavior

That's close to what another user in here reported but they got a script error on their black screen.
As a troubleshooting step, I suggest a fresh install of the normal version of the game to C:/infinitefusion/. Don't just copy over your files from an existing install.
It will still use your save, which is in AppData

I'm having an issue where a lot of my fusions are just showing a large white circle with a "?" in the middle in place of a sprite. I've already turned on automatic downloads in the settings and even installed the full sprite pack and placed it in the indexed folder but still so many fusion sprites aren't showing at all and I'm not sure how to fix it

Hey @shadow hedge! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!
