Those images don't come with the game by default. The game normally runs fine without them, downloading them as normal, but if you have a reason to run via the alternate launcher then it implodes.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.

It would have to be something in windows. With your audio hardware and drivers. I don't know about your hardware setup so I can't say for sure without being physically at the machine.

Afaik the issue doesn't happen on PC. So the problem is with or in JoiPlay.
The devs here do not make JoiPlay. They make the game for Windows.
If you want the people who make JoiPlay to fix their software so that it runs stuff correctly, or if you want assistance with it, you have to report this issue to the developers of JoiPlay.

Either the update script didn't work, or you are still using something like a shortcut to the old game executable.
If game.exe says you are still out of date, try a fresh install to a new folder. It would still use the same save folder but...

Hey @whole mortar! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hi! I had the 5.1.1.1 version, and I tried to update to the last one. It was hard to find if I could just use the update file, or if I had to install again since the update features didn't exist in my old version. So I tried to update, it didn't work, and use the install file didn't work either. It said that I changes files etc. So I deleted everything, reboot, and it still doesn't work... after launching the install bat file, 2 cmd windows open and immediately close themselves. If I try to do it in admin mode, the cmd windows does not close, but a popup says that it couldn't find the version_control\PortableGit\git-bash.exe, but the file is there!

How can I be sure to do a clean reinstall? I guess there are some old file or registries that causes that

If you save files are from a recent versions, they should be compatible and migrate without a problem.

If they are from an old version (like 4.x), there's a good chance you'll have no choice but to start a new.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

How do i get the Sprites into the Alternate version

I would suggest adding Sprites.zip and the 1-91 full sprite pack to your installation. See the guide in the second pin here.
You can experiment with as many installs in different folders as you want. Your save is in AppData so it's safe

It wouldn't normally erase itself. But maybe you have an antivirus or something that doesn't like .bat scripts

Preloaded uses an older version of the installer that's prone to bugs like this
get the standard version from #downloads and follow the instructions in the first pin here to make it functionally a preloaded
