Hey @marsh ivy! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Hey @undone horizon! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Your save is elsewhere in %AppData%/InfiniteFusion. I would back this up. So you have your old save and game folder to fall back on just in case.

Hey @kindred wren! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

The one thing I need to correct about this was the game taking a while to load happened after beating the E4 and there was an onyx fusion that also takes a while to load ( this was on the intro screen before save select ) someone sugested PC bug but only box 30 and the pokemon/fusion in question are having issues and many of the more drastic symptoms aren't showing

Hi! I was trying to import custom sprites into my game, but it didn't work. I put directly in the custombatlers folder, as I should and the correct message came when I booted up the game. However, the game would then crash, so Itried removing the sprites from the folder, and now it seems like no fusion in the game has a sprite anymore... I've tried putting the png's back in the folder, but nothing changed.
I should probably also mention that I play this on mac, so I'm running this through wineskin winery

Some generated fusions are laggy when like, hovering over them, moving them etc.
There's also the PC box thing, mentioned in the bottom pinned message. Read that.
I would back up your save and then start releasing Pokemon until it runs better. Maybe you'll find a particularly troublesome few.

Hey @full otter! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hi! I was trying to import custom sprites into my game, but it didn't work. I put directly in the custombatlers folder, as I should and the correct message came when I booted up the game. However, the game would then crash, so Itried removing the sprites from the folder, and now it seems like no fusion in the game has a sprite anymore... I've tried putting the png's back in the folder, but nothing changed.

I'm sorry but there's no way you followed all those steps so quickly. Dont use previous downloads, get everything brand new.
You'll notice that you apply both the full sprite pack AND Sprites.zip

New folder on C:. Don't use any old files. Don't skip any steps in the guide or you will certainly get the error again

Hey @floral kayak! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

“You have to search the file of the head pokemon by number (based on pokedex) then add the sprite in it and name it by the head pokemon dex number.body pokemon dex number

Lately, OneDrive has been locking files for people if the game is in Documents, Downloads, or Desktop. Gives permission issues. Learned it from Dolphin emulator and their switch to %AppData%.
Recently someone tried to install the game to drive E: which was formatted in a different file system, so the installer would not work due to journaling or something

Honestly it would probably be fine installing it to your E: if windows formatted it.

I suggest a fresh installs in C:/InfiniteFusion/ not just to avoid all these fringe cases, but also because a completely fresh install solves a lot of problems. And if the user won't try it given solid instructions, it means they're unable or unwilling to, and I can block them so as not to waste my time.

Like if someone tries the steps and shows how it doesn't work, we're in the troubleshooting and can start narrowing it down.
If they say they tried it and show a screenshot of the game running in Documents, I'm not going to keep telling them to follow instructions.

Your issue is that you are just clicking into the .zip and trying to run the .bat. you gotta take the stuff out of the .zip

It might be something with mon box arrangement in the PC. Something about this in the pinned posts here.
Your best bet is to try the alternate launcher or preloaded version. Heck, try them both. Your save is elsewhere so it's fine.
But you have to set it up just right. The guide I linked a few posts up covers both.

Hey @primal bane! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!
