Hey @dull wave! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @narrow jetty! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Download the 5.2.1 preloaded version that should have the alt launcher. I don't suggest updating to the latest till it becomes more stable

Try the 5.2.1 preloaded version and use the alt launcher instead of the most recent update as the new versions are fairly buggy atm and in regards to the slowness that could be related to your computer just not being able to handle the game, esp if it slows down more when u speed it up as the game has to process things faster but your cpu can't keep up, just a hunch

i havnt encountered it myself but from my just looking at the code line it mentions in the error about "mkdir"(again from my limited understanding) is either it cant find/download the file, or somehow doesnt have system permissions to make the dir for the sprite file

the error i was responding too was a different one which looks to be just a lack of system permissions to open a sprite to be loaded in game

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @simple sand! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

odd, i had an issue i just fixed that was due to the permissions on the folder that contains all of that. I had to right click the folder, go to properties, then click on teh security tab, then select Users(you) and select the full control box.

so i recently downloaded the 5.3.0.5 on my laptop with windows 11. i cannot effectively play the regular launcher and have to use the alternate launcher. for one, most if not all of the fusion sprites show up at all, either replaced with a question mark or a blank space. on top of that, trying to download all sprites online causes constant crashes whenever a new sprite is downloaded. BUT what ive noticed with the downloading of the fusion sprites is that it puts the sprites downloaded into the Battlers folder instead of the CustomBattlers folder. On top of that, the custom battlers folder has the indexed folder with nothing in any of the 420 folders inside (most likely where the downloaded sprites would probably go but they go to the regular Battlers folder of each pokemon. for example, a nidoran female-ivysaur fusion would get put into the Battlers folder containing the original Nidoran female sprite. i have no idea if this is intentional or if it is supposed to go into the indexed folder files instead)

but playing with the download custom sprites off leads to no sprites showing up in game, even when adding the entire custom battler folder into the correct location. my friend mentioned grabbing the 5.2.1 and patching that to fix the issue, which im going to try doing now, but i find it odd that adding the sprites to the correct location, as well as the downloaded sprites being put into the regular Battlers folder, was happening when it feel like that shouldnt be the case

Does anybody know how to make the questionmarks disappear as sprites? I just updated to 5.3. and somehow all sprites that are non-custom have this stupid round question-mark symbol... :/

Hey @crimson quiver! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hi. I ran into a problem while trying to download the game.
I extracted the Infinitefusion.zip file and then clicked on "INSTALL", it then opened a window that closed right after. (I think I saw a "failed to load library" when it opened) It then deleted the Install thing with other files. Leaving just "UPDATE", version control (With the others files in it) and git_pull.sh. I tried installing it 3 times but ran into the same problem everytime. Am I missing something obvious or did I do something wrong with my pc ?
