Hey @safe river! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

So close the game and laugh it with your headphones plugged in and all should be fine

I posted last night, but don't think anyone responded as far as i could see, but I'm pretty certain some of the music& effects is missing or not working for my game?
Certain routs are dead silent (route 1) and other areas or scenes feel like they are missing some sound affects.

yeah for some reason the dynamic version has missing music. If you download the patch and replace the audio folder with the patch's audio it should be fine

trying to play with modern mode and the newest spritepack on a fresh download of the preloaded game. got an issue where the game would crash upon the first rival battle. since I was like 3 minutes in I decided to delete the game and try reinstalling. Does anyone know the specific order of operations to prevent this error? So far I have figured out that I should always ask to replace when needed, but in terms of where to extract each of the additional modifications, modern mode and the spritepack, and in terms of what order to install them, I am at a loss. I would figure it out myself, but my laptop proves extremely inefficient at unzipping the sprites, and each attempt to reinstall costs me several hours

Well that error is due to the game reading a save file that's been nulled/corrupted, so, if you moved it out of the save file directory, it's logically not possible for it to read a file that doesn't exist. Not sure what exactly you did so I'll just say try again.

There's a shortcut to the save file location named "SaveFile" located in your game folder. Your save files will follow this naming convention "File {X}.rxdata"

As for this, yeah. My motherboard doesn't support the new opengl, as proven by my inability to launch java minecraft.

sounds like you need to try to update drivers again, make sure you've got the correct redistributables installed, and just do some overall maintenance with your computer. Reinstalling the OS could be a last resort.

I've done all of that besides the os reinstall before, and I doubt anything would have changed if it said up-to-date 6+ months ago

No, the articles I read when troubleshooting did. Said my drivers were too old for the latest version of opengl, and that minecraft required the latest. I googled my driver version, tried manual updates, went through article after article, and everything said the same thing.

It's actually not as uncommon as you'd think for some games to crash when fullscreening during loading. I've seen several others that do, and I'd assume it's because it messes with the loading due to a change in resolution.
