typically on Modern mode files specifically

U can circumvent the issue by extracting a new game folder and running ur save from that folder

That folder will be in Classic so u can have the Classic Gio fight

Then when ur done u go back to ur Modern folder

For the record the traceback is massive and seems to contain data pertaining to every NPC encounter in the game but doesn't tell us what the real problem is or what the data we're looking at means

It's something about a failed check for a class variable called "has_key?"

It can happen at this Gio fight and potentially some early rival fights as well

The intended sequence is to complete the Colress quest before Mt Silver. As such, you have to climb back up to the top and beat the fight on top of Mt Silver again (it's re-battleable) after Colress has gone to Mt Moon before it counts.

Just beat mt silver again. He never calls. You have to beat mt silver after getting him to mt moon. It doesn't matter if you've already done it once. You can fight the boss at the top again.

You may run into issues which require a fresh install when patching from 5.0, but try launching with the titled exe (Game.exe is no longer used and left over from 5.0). Most likely it'll crash on startup because of your 5.0 save

You can try running it (Pokemon Infinite Fusion.exe, NOT Game.exe). Otherwise the best course of action is getting 5.1.1.1 full fresh and into a new folder, and patching it up to the newest version (I'd patch to 5.1.2.4 first and then 5.1.3 on top of that to be safe, rather than just straight to 5.1.3, but it may work smoothly too). Your save may still cause a crash (first Q in the first pinned message), in which case you can try renaming Game.rxdata in the save folder to File A.rxdata, but depending on the save it may still just be straight up incompatible with 5.1 and needs to be moved out of the save folder in that case

The light version doesn't come with the alt launcher cause it requires all sprites present and currently, 5.1.3 and 5.1.2.4 full version downloads aren't available yet, so I'm assuming you're running the light version of 5.1.3. The only way to get the alt launcher rn without waiting for the full download to come available is to download 5.1.1.1 full and patch it up to 5.1.2.4 and 5.1.3 with the patch downloads (straight to 5.1.3 may work, but judging by what I've seen here I'd patch it in steps)

Yeah the game only uses .png files (lowercase). For the few .png's, remove the starting 0 from the name that shouldn't be there (those snuck into the pack somehow).
For the capitalized .PNG's, rename them so that the extension is lowercase .png.
For the .jpg files, open them in the image viewer and save as .png.
For the .gif's, open them to see if they're animated. If not, you can also save them as .png

you may have to start over. The game doesn't know to import the sprites you put in there. I really think the onedrive thing messed it up. I would make a new folder. Extract the game into it. And then extract the sprites into the custombattlers folder.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

the non fused sprites are fine. But the game doesn't recognize alternate sprites for non fused mons

the lite version is not meant to. The developer of this game doesn't realize how many problems the lite version causes but for some reason released it as the only way of playing the newest version. You need to play the game normally so it populates the folders, for the game

No. So this is where it gets complicated. The lite version doesn't have all the necessary pieces to play the game. It downloads as it needs things. When the game randomizes, it looks at all the possible pokemon it can randomize by looks at your graphics folder. Since nothing is there it doesn't know what to do.

It actually crashes cause it needs the custom sprites present for that option when randomizing, and the light version doesn't have them right off the bat, and it seems adding the sprite pack doesn't help cause it must also need the autogen sprites for comparisons or something, I haven't looked into the randomizer code yet

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hey @molten estuary! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

I need to use the patch, but i think the versions in "Older version" are too much old. Theres any way to get the lastest full version, or a version that is sure to be able to be updated?

Hey @hot flicker! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

ok I thought I fixed my issue but this is what i'm trying to do:

I extracted P1 to my game folder, then I extracted the 'Data' in P22 to override the Data folder that was generated when I downloaded the first (5.1.2.4)

However I'm STILL getting this same issue (P3), even though it still looks like I have the old game file? Not sure how to get the new full game file as it doesn't look to be included in the download tab of the discord, here's what my folder for the infinite fusion looks like atm (P4)

I followed the steps in the video I was provided but it's still giving me the same error

Hey @storm prawn! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Whenever my BF tries to enter a building, get into a battle, or change location in a cutscene, his game generally freezes on a black screen for a solid 10-20 seconds. I'm guessing the loading isn't supposed to be that long, and he's tried things like turning "download sprites" off, turning "Fusion icons" to DNA, restarting his computer and redownloading the game. Is there anything else he can try?

That can't be the problem, he tried to play this on an older, worse computer and it ran perfectly fine (in terms of loading).

There are quite a bit of variables to determine what a bad computer is. If the game is on an external drive. That's bad. If the game is trying to back itself up using onedrive. That's bad. This game is poorly optimized and it demands a lot for what it should be.

Having a fast hard drive like an SSD helps. A processor that is fast and enough ram helps as well

The laptop that he made this game work with has a celeron CPU and 2 GB of ram. The one where it takes forever to load has a gen 11 i5 CPU and 8 GB of ram. Unless the hard drive is significantly bottlenecking, I doubt it's a hardware thing.
