hi- i tried to replace the palkia and charizard fusion sprite to the most recent one ( the one on the fusion generator website) and i know i probably did it wrong as the sprite isnt showing so i was wondering if there was a way to find the pre custom sprite for it because i replaced it directly from the battlers folder because that worked for 4.9 but it didnt work after updating it to 5.1

Hey @knotty tundra! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

The fix for you is to go to the second floor of a pokemon center and talk to the update man (guy in suit and sunglasses in the right side), I remember something about him being able to change randomizer settings.

Im not sure if this was mistake but when i open up the zip file i get the Other file and all the updated pokemon fusion sprites outside their folders and so i need to individually put the png's in the correct file.

from my understanding, the 4.x saves and the 5.x saves are mostly incompatible - there should be a migrate save bat in the main game folder you can try, but there's no guarantees the save will be in a valid state

you'll also need to relearn a lot of moves from the guy upstairs in the pokecenter, since the IDs changed between 4.9 and 5

if you did that migration process and are now getting that error, its probably something along the lines of save incompatibility

if you haven't transferred the save yet, probably a file just failed to extract and you need to re-extract the game again

main thing you need to do when you copy them over into the folder is hold the option key when you drag the new sprites over

that way it does a merge instead of a copy and replace

same with just restarting comp, which can kill some hanging processes holding files the alt launcher needs to boot up

if it's neither of those you might be doomed to long load times unless you can move stuff to an ssd

to do this, you have to drag the “Data” folder from the base game patch into the folder you have your game in, replace the files with the same name, and then play the fight. After which, you can drag in the Modern Mode “Data” folder and resume playing like normal.

Usually audio issues are caused by missing files - I would say make sure that the extraction process got everything, try extracting with 7zip or winrar if the windows one is dropping files

I installed custom sprites for some ||triple fusions|| but they're not showing up in the dex. also there's another issue. If I select a different sprite for something that has custom sprites, the sprite doesn't get set right. It just set it to what was the default in the first place, like here. This was supposed to be alolan meowth, but it just defaults to the normal one even though I selected the alolan one, this does this with the other sprites when I pick them too

Hey @tough wind! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Ok, so earlier the game would randomly fuse pokemon in a specific area, however after I wnt to the update man and began messing around with his settings for random encounters the game either does fusings with pokemon from different areas and/or biomes.
I have tried to deleting and replacing the encounters_random.dat file but it doesn’t work.. And when I set the randomization to area at the update man i get no encounters at all

But honestly it doesn't even sound broken to me, wild fusions were fairly rare from what little of the game I played before starting over and randomising

It's worth mentioning that there's two versions of randomizing too, there's the version that randomizes only the base species to another base species, and the version that randomizes every mon to a fusion

I don't remember what each are called, but probably you had it set to the latter

Its not read only so i try to run it in admin mode

every new pokemon adds a minimum of around 800 species total, so frog has decided that no more will be added to the game in the immediate future

Um hello, everyone, I'm having some issues with th game, I just downloaded version 5.1, and also got the sprite packs 1-85, I launched the game and it worked just fine, but it then asked me "While importing custom sprites the game has detected 14894 new custom sprites already have versions that exist in the game." Then it asked if i would like to replace the old sprites with the new sprites, and I clicked yes, but then the game just froze and when I tried to close the window it said the program wasn't responding and shut down. Can someone tell me if I did something wrong?

You have to wait a couple of minutes sometimes. If not you could just replace the original sprites with the custom once since that is what the game basically tried to do in the beginning.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.
