Yeah apparently it doesn't guarantee an encounter when you step on it and functions like a regular grass tile. I think you just gotta use a repel and walk over it until the encounter happens

Issue: Suffering intense slowdowns when with a party full of 6 fused pokemon
This has been a constant issue for me since version 5.0 and I have no idea how to fix it

As inelegant as it may be, going to the Graphics\Icons folder and deleting all the pokemon icons should work. It achieves the same effect as the old v4.9 "fused icons" would have, except the icons of fused mons will appear like question marks rather than 🧬 symbols

Your fused mons will look like this, but your game will run as smoothly as a bowling ball on the side of a hill covered in pineapple juice

(what I technically did was install Jokaes' icons - the ones that are pinned in #general - in my v5 version, but since they don't work on v5 Frogman said that the effect of such modification is the same as deleting all of the icons)

Ye, if you don't wanna wait a few minutes to boot up the game then v4.9 loads quickly. That version crashes a little more often and is a little more buggy than the recent builds so be warned, but yeah both versions are fully playable

update : i fond out where this come from, i've changed my pokemon default ball in goldenrod and it make the game crash when on of them is send to battle when i came back to change it again it showed me this : (i had it change for the rocket ball in the first place, so dont do this i guess lol). another update : i've fixed it, every ball the merchand propose me was bugged ( tried them all) so i had to unfuse my pokemon, fused them the other way around so it's the "second" pokemon ball who takes over and reverse them.

In v4.9 you get it from a Hiker in a room on the main level, in v5 you get it as a gift from Brock. My thought was that maybe you didn't get it in v4.9, cleared all the events until past the time in which it's available in v5 (because you get it before having access to Mt. Moon proper in that version) and therefore softlocked yourself in the most convoluted way possible

If that's the case, you'll need to restart your save picking one version or the other. The good news is I can't think of any other TM/HM that's been moved in such a way between versions

I was running some cheat engine stuff, just trying things out, but the game never saved before it would crash. It reopened fine several times, then i went to Celadon city, (after i had relaunched, nothing SHOULD have been saved that was changed), and then it crashed when i went into a house. Its just loop crashing, and reinstalling didn't seem to work.

So I'm playing modern mode and I was trying to temporarily revert the trainers to "normal mode" for the sake of grinding rematches at a reasonable pace. With this in mind, I put the original encounters.dat and trainers.dat files in the Data folder (and renamed the ones from modern mode to something else). However, the trainers remain unchanged even after talking to the Update Man to try and fix it - what am I doing wrong?

Hi hi, I am new to the game and have been sinking my teeth in, but ran into a weird issue I am finding no mention of:
Some area's do not have any music at all, while the rest of the area's have music fine enough. Specifically: any pomemon center, mt. moon, cerulean city, both routes north of cerulean city are all eerily quiet (unless in combat), have not gotten further yet. All other music is being played properly.
My version/situation: Appears to happening both 5.0.26 and in 5.0.31.4, both with and without custom sprites added. Fix guy didn't fix it.

Hi, I tried to play the game on android. So I install the last version 5.0 and the last version on Joiplay, rpg plugin and crosswalk plugin on the official patreon of Joiplay. But when I start the game all textures are destructured (photo), even if i use the patch. I've had a similar issue on my laptop only, the way I had it work (although I'm not sure why) is to decide whether I want headset or not before booting up the game and then never plug/unplug them throughout the whole session. If it's the same issue, plugging the headphones, closing IF and opening it up again should fix it

It doesn't appear to make any difference: the pokemon sprite briefly flash and turns into the doll, then disappears for a few frames, then returns back to the original pokemon sprite 🤔

Another question: is it okay to patch 5.0.32 on top of the modern mode patch from the previous v5 patch? Or should I always re-apply modern mode patch afterwards?

I ask because the patch does contain both an encounter.dat and a trainer.dat file, which afaik are the ones responsible for modern mode

Pardon me, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the game to work. Loading it gives me a black screen before eventually crashing saying RGS (or something like that) stopped. Now I saw on the wiki FAQ that I can try adding the game to an exception list for DEP. I tried this, however on attempting to add game.exe to the list of exceptions my computer told me that 64 bit executables were not allowed to be added to the list.

Is there anything else I can try?

Edit: Of course after coming here and asking, the next time I try running it it works after taking a minute to load. Just like taking a car to the mechanic.

Hello! I have a problem with Pokemon Infinite Fusion 5.0.32 My problem is that when I try to resize my screen I get a black screen. Global randomization is the only option currently, but you can rerandomize encounters during a playthrough to have an "area-like" experience (i.e. randomize after every gym)
