Eh when they first started started believe it or not there were extremely high standards for entry and most students actually made it into Harvard by having high test scores. Infact I saw a chart how over the years more and more students entered Harvard through just sheer wealth.

Now most students that enter didn't win a scholarship or even have particularly good grades or anything since they began lowering those specific standards.
