Had to come up with battle armor for a group of aliens in my book that act as sort of the inspiration for human mythology’s depictions of demons and the like.
Basically came up with an almost organic-looking suit with a full visor. Red material sculpted to look like exposed muscle and a chrome skeletal trim for added fear effect, among other things. And after a bit of thinking, I realized this sounded very familiar, just couldn’t place it.
