I'm only dipping my toe into it. I recently picked up [magic powers, rituals, and practices of pre-contact indigenous civilizations] papers and stuff from my latest anthropology rabbit hole dive. And the best way to learn is to practice the beliefs firsthand, so I'm giving it a shot and seeing how it works. The psychological aspect of having a little magic boost to get me through the day has actually been pretty good for my day-to-day mindset. Fills me with a bit of whimsy. I'm learning all this for a game project I've got going on.
