this number is somewhat inflated since this counts every individual species and not just fully evolved mons, but you have cases like honedge and doublade that get no guard but not aegislash, so idk

There was also apparently some jank glitch involving Poison types and how Toxic is 100% accurate when used by them which caused some hyper specific glitches allowing them to hit OHKO moves with perfect accuracy, but it was a lot of setup and was also patched out

Krookodile is good it gets moxie and intimate so you can make useful fusions
I hear absol is good
Umbreon is tanky
Greninja as a starter is good
Weavile is fast
Tyranitar is a pseudo and in remix mode you can get a larvitar around 3rd gym in diglett tunnel

Electivire/Greninja, you can get it to learn Plasma Fist at the expert move tutor, and learns a lot of moves of other types to make great use of the Type Changing ability

It's not a Dark type itself, but Weezing fused with a Dark type gives you the Dark/Poison type combo as well as Levitate for no weaknesses. Something worth considering.

which can be caught super early and just has better moves

Milotic/hydreigon and lanturn/milotic with volt absorb are good options. Mostly late game before elite 4 but that's when you can get feebas on remix and classic.
(Hydreigon one feels op tho)

And I thought about Togekiss/Diancie with Diamond Storm/Stored Power/Serene Grace
Diamond Storm would turn Stored Power into a 140 power move within two turns since Diamond Storm hits two opponents and the boosts are guaranteed

A fast psychic type with stored power would work well for a later option

Espeon or gardevior work as they're both psychic and have the move or you could get more options from just using the move

I feel the castform fusions I've been seeing could be a lot better. I used AI for some concept art to maybe help inspire the real artists in here. This is rapidash and castform. I used nano banana and had to reprompt a few times to get the result I wanted.

Could definitely be improved but you get the idea. The castform fusions could be used to create some cool mons using this style

I have no artistic ability but AI can make these bangers it shouldn't be too hard to make better castform fusions. All the ones I see are just the Pokemon head pasted inside cast form body it's actually so copy paste brain dead simple you could do it with Microsoft paint.
