the issue is trying to find what types have an even mix of head and body mons, so far dragon's the closest at a 10/9 ratio

Found a possible good fusion for Yanma with a Pichu. Problem is, it doesn't say which part is Yanma and which is Pichu. "Yanma can be obtained through an NPC trade in Cerulean City. Combine Yanma with a Pichu that learned Nasty Plot (which boosts special attack by two levels), then evolve the Pichu side into a Pikachu. The result is a devastating special sweeper that can combine Electro Ball (a Special move that deals more damage the faster you are compared to your target), a paralysis-causing move to halve the target's speed, Nasty Plot, and the ability Speed Boost (raises speed by one level every turn) to quickly become too fast to stop. Even with a low base stat total, such a combination will carry you through the game. Once you fully evolve it... it will start sweeping teams with neutral or even resisted damage." Any suggestions?

I’ve used this before. It’s been a while but I remember it having decent bulk plus good mixed offense. Empoleon is an alternative.

It’s not cool looking but a fairy type like sylveon or togekiss are also great fusion options. Fairy Dark is a really great type for illusion. Two immunities is nice.

it's really hard to go wrong with togekiss in general though, most fire types are also pretty good (though blaziken is not a good option since you have to go either fire/flying or fairy/fighting, though the latter isn't bad if you don't mind losing the fire type)

I recommend a Fire, Water, or Steel type to fuse with it. Those are some of the best types to combo with Dragon.

Atm, the only Fire types I have are Ponyta and Growlithe, Water are Squirtle, Magikarp/Dhelmise, Slowpoke, Wooper, Poliwag, Seel, and Omanyte and Steel types are Pineco (once it evolves), Aron and Honedge.

Dragonite/Arcanine was pretty effective in my Kanto Only run, but it was a bit annoying having to wait until Level 45 for Flare Blitz to evolve the Growlithe part. Aggron and Aegislash can't give you the Steel/Dragon combo due to how type combos work in this, though Steel/Flying is still worth considering, especially considering you can go get a Hidden Ability Mon to do the HA swap trick and get Multiscale.
You can also get Scyther along with Dratini for an eventual Dragonite/Scizor combo, and that seems pretty solid from what I can tell.

How do you do the HA swap trick?

1- Catch a Pokemon with a Hidden Ability. You can get one easily at this point, as the Secret Forest always has Hidden Ability Pokemon available, and you can access that area from the route to the left of Celadon.
2- fuse the Hidden Abilities Pokemon with the Pokemon you want the hidden ability on. Important- the Hidden Ability Pokemon must be fused as the body.
3- use the DNA Reversers so the Pokemon you want the Hidden Ability on is the body now. You should see the desired Hidden Ability at this point.
4- Unfuse and enjoy.

Cause during a Discord roleplay I'm doing with a friend of mine on Discord, I made up a fusion that I thought was actually in the game, but when I looked in the InfiniteFusion Dex (IFDex for short) and there was no Magmortar/Mightyena fusion.
