Ok, but that doesn't at all address what i'm talking about. sand rush makes it fast enough to outspeed any unboosted pokemon, but it has a 2 dual weaknesses and will have trouble entering after you setup sand. go ahead and try it out for a bit, rock/fire typing is just a little too hard to enter the field unless you pair it with a very slow pivot poke or something. Also speed boosting weather abilities are bugged and don't work atm, which was an issue for me trying to do weather teams.

Depends what you want out of him, if you go Charizard body you end up as a flying type late game instead of fire.

I love grass/fire but a lot of the early grass types are secondary poison so it's hard to get a zard fusion that isn't fire poison or flying grass

Most of the river needs surf to explore but there is a rare chance one can spawn right by the door. You can enter and exit on repeat until that happens.||

If you somehow get a spare 100k monies you can bribe the rocket guards and get to Cerulean early, but that's not really practical on a first run.
