I'm at the point in postgame where I try to find the strongest fusions, particularly where there's synergy and not just something genericly strong. One thing I've tried to find but had trouble with is a pokemon with strong Ground/Fairy STAB. There's a bunch of physical ground types and special fairy types, often not giving the ground/fairy typing on fusion because of body/head types

You’re still not a glass cannon by any means I don’t think very many Pokémon are swapping in in that. Losing drought makes you lose to water harder but that was already the case switch it out to a water resist if you can’t one shot it after the disguise turn swords dance that’s what your other mons are for

One thing Ill give you is the stats are bad even compared to the inveres fusion that would actually push me away from using this personally

but I'm not the one looking specifically for a ground fairy mon

if anyone just wants some pretty broken/fun to use fusions heres my last hardcore nuzlocke E4 team (modern mode hard)

Bewear/Poliwrath has to be one of my fav creations, seems like such a sleeper pick till you realize fluffy+ fire resistance on a giant hp and sp def mon like this is disgustingly tanky and gets drain punch bulk up to never die lmaooo

Bewear/Tentacruel actually goes hard too for more spdef but less attack take ya pick

confused my showdown team with my in game team for a second lmao poliwrath isnt really fat spdef but if you ev him and even better get a spdef nature you can get super tanky on both sides, phyically for damn sure with fluffy. I run tentacruel with perfect ev/iv and nature on the showdown server bc its more unkillable but there also even more broken stuff on there so i get stomped sometimes :S

Because drought gets rid of the water weakness and gives it stronger fire attacks which is better both defensively and offensively than disguise. Leech Life might be a good move on alot of pokemon but it is actually that great on groudon due to coverage and the fact that its just an 80 base power bug attack that heals you for half of the damage dealt. Groudon has access to some of the best ground, rock, and fire moves in the game which counter more pokemon types. A bug type move that only has 80 base power basically does the same damage with a super effective hit as a neutral earthquake because of stab.

Not to mention drought also supports your team
